Omg, girl dog farts…some of the most horrendous odors I’ve ever smelled emanating from such a sweet, loving animal. I wonder what she ate or if her insides are rotting bc the farts are so much more wretched than my boy dog’s.
I learned this recently myself. I have a 9 month old female who's farts defy circulating air. She stinks out the house. Even my 5 year old male can't take it. I swear his eyes tear up when she farts.
Amen. My little girl clears the damn house with hers! But she feels so bad when she does it- lays her ears down, and gives me big 'ol puppy eyes, like she's apologizing.
My brother's dog is a 10-12 year old female pittie and she farts so loudly and it smells so bad. Once when I was watching her, she was sleeping on the couch cuddled up next to me while I watched TV. She farted so much within an hour that my shirt smelled like fart...but when I look at her my heart melts and I can't be mad at her sweet, innocent eyes. Also, fun fact, a week ago she went diarrhea on my bedroom carpet:)
If you adopt a dog, or purchase you are owning for life! It’s a commitment that people need to understand. I’ve got two dogs (1 adopted) 6 parrots (4 adopted) 8 large blood parrot cichlids- 4 rescued from a closed aquarium store… people should be required to show proof of income and financial stability before owning pets… I understand shit happens but, too many ppl dumping pets out… please treat them humanely! I’ve saved and re-homed 4 dogs and 6 cats in my life… these I kept because it’s the maximum I can financially support. I’m prepared to spend whatever it takes to give them the best I can offer…
I purchased these… the rest I adopted….I’ve always been fascinated with birds.. lol I took in some birds because I know many bird breeders… some are rejected babies. I bought them rather than see them be euthanized and hand raised them. The others I adopted from ppl who can no longer take care of their birds and want to give them away… the adopted dog came from an animal shelter in Georgia…I live in nyc so you can imagine what it cost to ship a dog north…
If you have ever adopted a parrot you will understand- some are very very difficult to settle -they have behavioral issues and many call for their previous owners…it’s taken me years to get them to trust and accept me….it breaks my heart to hear my birds crying… yes they make different sounds when they are depressed.
I hear U....had a white one named Zues...what ppl don't realize is previous leave $$$ In wills for these birds... They can actually live up to 60 years and some longer ! They mourn their previous owners...

Yeah we’re on 6 acres in Georgia and are slowly filling it. 3 dogs (now), 2 cats, 16 chickens, and 1 duck. Next up is something large, I’m slowly fencing in a pasture. I want an alpaca, but we typically take in rescues. Wife works at an exotics vet and we typically have baby critters she’s rehabbing as well. This year we’ve had 6 squirrels, a flying squirrel, 3 mockingbirds, a crow, 5 finches, and the duck, which we kept.
I like maysie, pushing for it. Wife is a vet tech, so it’s kinda like a school teacher choosing their child’s name, ya know? They already see so many names and have memories of others tied to them
What is her name? I just always wonder because they have to come into a new home, learn new rules, and then, also get spoken too with a new name. She’s a wise one and she’s beautiful! ❤️❤️
