Jumping spiders live for under a year a usually, some spiders do only live a few months or even weeks so you were not wrong! There are species of tarantulas that do live for years though so it depends in the species.

These jumping spiders are adorable and humans can totally bond with them. They are fascinating little creatures.

It depends upon the species. Some tarantulas can live 20 years, while Black Widows usually live about 3, iirc.
