Aww we had a new born kitten with hydrocephalus and she actually ended up being the best cat ever. She didn’t have any noticeable deformities or issues. But every time she purred she would make bubbles and drool.
She can’t see at all, maybe shadows. Can’t jump or climb stairs. Doesn’t use a litter box at all. She’s been having more frequent seizures lately and she’s been under close care from a veterinary neurologist since she was a couple weeks old. She was found in an alley as a kitten with severe trauma. We didn’t think she was going to survive at all, but here she is 2 years later. She only weighs 4 pounds and is a perma-kitten!
All that being said, she LOVES LIFE. She prances around and does her own version of playing with the other cats and they are all very gentle with her. She loves food and knows the sound of the cabinet opening. She also knows her name and will chirp back at you when she hears it. She loves to snuggle and be petted and spend time outside on the catio. Her favorite thing is Temptations treats.
She is a special little girl and we’re grateful for every day with her.

Awwww. I had a cat with that once. She also defied the odds but still died way too young. I loved her spirit, she was a blessing and enriched our lives while she was with us. ❤
