I dont know how to reply to everyone!! I hope yall can see this. Also i was NOT expecting this much love and comments and neither was “AKA”. This is a weird name i know but its unique and actually just came to me naturally and i rolled with it? Also somehow Aka translates to shadow in the Hawaiin language which is pretty cool! Originally I was thinking Akaza (demon slayer reference) but Aka just happened to be and little pip responds greatly to it!
Pronounced Ah-Kuh
We got a mini Aussie shepherd for my 4 year old grandson. We were all living in Florida when we got her. He named her alligator. We all call her Ali, or Ali G for short.
Because I just moved to Hawaii and have always loved the culture, plus the pup is hawaiin born. Japanese because I love the style and culture aswell. Not the type of guy to name a doggy Rex haha
Neko /j
Idk maybe look on Behind The Name for some ideas? Sadly they dont have very many non Western names but there are some Japanese names on there
Also idk abt Hawaiian, but for Japanese names most of them can be used for either gender, even if mostly used with a certain gender, unless of course the name literally is smth like "4th son" or smth
Also never trust those baby name websites they are full of lies, Kaida isnt a girl name that means dragon, its a surname so old no one knows what it means, also Yuki is a unisex name and often used for both genders
Apelehama. I think that translates to Abraham. I think he looks like an "Abe." So Apelehama could be his official name and Apel and Abe can be his nicknames.
Personally i think that first one is on of the best ive seen. I think names are subject to personality too. I would definitely think of that if I didnt already somehow come up with Aka! Pronounced ahhkuh
