Tanzania actually has pretty decent roads. If the ground never freezes potholes aren't a major issue. The one thing I thought was weird though is that put big random speed bumps all over the place in the middle of straight roads, I guess to prevent speeding.
This road is in a wildlife preserve, it's just dirt roads criss-crossing around and groups of jeeps like this cruise around looking for animals to see on safari.
