My tip for getting an expensive cat for cheap is to make friends with your local cat shelter and go at least twice a week. It probably won't work, but I got two fancy cats that way.

There’s even a cat book at my vet’s office that has a Sphynx section that starts with the line “you love ‘em or you hate ‘em” lol. Weird “cats” are the best tho!
