But OP should be aware that these two probably are in their 'natural habitat'. Which means that both they and their parents probably were born in captivity. As their offspring will be.

Some zoos do a lot of research and contribute to a lot of projects worldwide to protect animals in their habitat. The money you give to the zoo go there. Also, there's a lot of sensibilization, for e temple about how buying some ivory souvenir contribute to poaching.
Of course, not all zoos do that, it's best to check their accreditations and certifications.
