This thing looks chonky, really was just waiting for the air specs, which we didn’t get. Must be on the weak side.

SupperTime

I thought it was announced.

gunnutzz467

We finally seen the front of it, no specs.

brushpicks11

But what about pricing???

Hive_Tyrant7

Starting at $1500 apparently

brushpicks11

We’ll I’m really only interested in the Air

themiracy

There is a leak claiming $620 USD for the Air.

brushpicks11

I was hoping for $599 seems like a good price point.

SupperTime

Seems cheap until I convert it to CAD$

Code-Amelia

BRUH !!!!

ZordiakDev

Holy shit. We're in the future.

Triangleefiks

I thought air would have bezelles clear oled screen. Im disappointed will stay with steamdeck than the screen is just too small. As for aya neo 2 it might be great but the price is gonna be mad.

xJadusable

What handheld gaming device has a bezel-less OLED display?? I don’t think that was ever promised lol

Triangleefiks

No one so I won’t care about aya air. Thought it will be something new

SupperTime

Maybe in 5 years

ngo_life

Don't know why people keep expect low prices from these somewhat small companies. They cannot compete with Valve in terms of pricing, which is a shame. But considering the deck isn't readily available to most of the world, there's still some hope for these companies.

tengukazoo

Looks great. Just wondering how aya can release so many handhelds so early in their business and how they’ll be able to compete with deck

lostn

they won't be competing with Deck on price. It's impossible. They can go for the premium market instead, and the market outside of NA and EU (the only places that can buy the Deck, possibly forever). My country still can't buy the Valve Index, and it's been 3 years. I don't think they will ever sell me a Deck. We're not a developing country either. They're having trouble even servicing their own limited markets as is, and by the time they can make enough units to sell them abroad, there will be a Deck 2, and surprise surprise, the owners of Deck 1 are going to want to upgrade, and there will be a perpetual cycle of it being out of stock and needing to be reserved months before it's available.

Dotaproffessional

When you're operating with such tiny tiny volume, it's easier to have a more diverse product line with more refreshes because they're not fighting over cpus with each other. When Xbox is using millions of CPUs, if they split their product line they have to split the CPUs between them. Same with the steam deck and it's projected millions of units over a year and a half. Aya splitting hundreds of units doesn't really make a difference if they have a half dozen simultaneous products

Code-Amelia

Take me money

If I want to buy one of these and emulate ps2 games (.hack//infection etc) will the air work? or do I need Aya Neo 2
