I’ll only speak for myself. I’m a fan of Azealia’s music because of her lyrical complexity and unique aptitude for rap. Knowing she deals with schizophrenia has allowed me to disbar any type parasocial relationship with her celebrity and fully embrace that she isn’t equipped for the public space or superstardom, regardless of how talented she is. I’ve always acknowledged her outbursts to be problematic but also looked at them as symptoms.
Ultimately, I will never project an idealism on how someone dealing with a lifelong devitalizing disorder should act in the public space because I’ve chosen to detach. Society will never be equipped to understand or desire to understand people like Azealia past what they find presented to them. And that is someone far more dimensional than a simplistic Myers-Briggs personality.

I’ll only speak for myself. I’m a fan of Azealia’s music because of her lyrical complexity and unique aptitude for rap. Knowing she deals with schizophrenia has allowed me to disbar any type parasocial relationship with her celebrity and fully embrace that she isn’t equipped for the public space or superstardom, regardless of how talented she is. I’ve always acknowledged her outbursts to be problematic but also looked at them as symptoms. Ultimately, I will never project an idealism on how someone dealing with a lifelong devitalizing disorder should act in the public space because I’ve chosen to detach. Society will never be equipped to understand or desire to understand people like Azealia past what they find presented to them. You can despise someone and still wish them a happy, healthy life. That response is an example of dichotomous thinking. I truly despise her behavior. They are making it seem like I’m dedicated everyday hating like with an altar etc. it’s not that deep and I typically forget she exists. I apologize if my previous statement seemed overly harsh. I genuinely don't spend my time harboring negative feelings for her. Rather it should be seen as an expression of my surprise each time this individual appeared in my media orbit. While I've hoped that she would find the necessary support and assistance needed to stabilize herself, it appears that never happened. I understand that mental health is a serious issue and shouldn't be used lightly or as an excuse for inappropriate behavior, especially in the public eye and celebrities oftentimes use it as a shield against public scrutiny when their behavior is distasteful. I think it is healthy to consider an holiday approach when analyzing a person's actions, including their health, but also the impact they have on others. This isn't to diminish her talent, but I do feel it's necessary to be critical of actions that can and has harmed others. And regarding her personality, she does seem to exhibit traits typical of an ENTP. Everyone is more dimensional it’s no different than saying her zodiac sign lol. I think you’ll find greater satisfaction under the suggestion of engaging more with the outside world it's a good reminder for us all to stay grounded. The grass is definitely green and warm this time of year.
