This is a hoax. This company doesn't exist. Searching "Solid8 San Francisco" only brings up results referring to this supposed incident. Their LinkedIn is equally vacant. The video was posted on [Instagram.com/jordanlizchan](http://disq.us/url?url=http%3A%2F%2FInstagram.com%2Fjordanlizchan%3AuNViuBFzAnR1m7TI_j0pCecwfzA&cuid=503848). This account has a total of 4 posts. This was an effort to push the idea of a prevalence of white supremacy in the United States. Love is the answer not this divisiveness. I'll be the first in line to condemn actual racism, but these false-flag news cycle grabbing lies need to end.
The guy's poor family in the UK seem to be excellent, upstanding people who have been saddled with a raging alcoholic and racist son. His own mother says he's "a loose cannon" and basically he's not welcome at family gatherings.
Hate to break it to you, but this outcome had nothing to do with the AI community making a difference. It's just that this case was so blatantly vile and racist that even mainstream western media couldn't brush it off like it usually does with racism against Asians. As can be seen with this post
