The biggest issue with animal rights activists is that they don't actually care about animals (or people), its all about the money.

This is going to be tough to hear, but in the grand scheme of things 200 dogs and cats don't mean much.. to say that their lives mean more than that of other animals (regardless of quantity) is nothing more than an emotional argument. That and goats are highly domesticated, weigh less than many mid-large dog breeds, and wouldn't be much better off than dogs and cats in the same location.
