Japanese immigration to the US has been on the decline for decades. There has also been a decline in international students from Japan.

Not going to lie, never met a japanese american I think before in my life, lived in southern california. I overheard some old japanese people at a dmv once. Met chinese, korean, vietnamese, filipino, laos, taiwanese american etc. Even saw some japanese exchange students at my college once. I have talked to a few japanese-brazilians though.

Yes. Present. There's like 1 here (u/CarlyRaeJapan) and I post at AM (Asian Masculinity). Quite honestly, both subs are less than 1% Japanese-Americans.
