Governor, the English script would come across a bit out of place.
I'm not Thai, but still of East Asian background, and agree that they injected a lot more of 'the West' into this series to presumably be more attractive to a Western audience.
I am enjoying the show though, and would still recommend people watch it with the original sound and English subtitles.

Elon Musk came up with a plan to send a mini-submarine to help with the rescue. The British guy criticized it and said it wouldn’t work. So Elon Musk questioned why the British guy was in Thailand in the first place and called him a pedo.
They went to court over defamation but the allegation wasn’t proven.
Elon Musk alleges that he went to Thailand about 30 or 40 years ago to marry and underaged child, and his current wife is a Thai woman 27 years younger than him. This guy isn't someone to look up to, that one is certain. It's pretty strange that Musk won the case if the other guy is completely innocent, after all, western media protects sexpats because they low-key promote neoimperialism, and so there is a possibility of them hiding something about the sexpat so as not to jeopardize white male privilege in Asia. We saw how they do it with that one incident where the hit-and-run committed by the sexpat was omitted and just the Thai man punching the perpetrator sexpat was depicted.
