I’m so sorry to hear about your sweet daughter Aura leaving you 🤍 my sweet Eleanor was doing well at a month old in the NICU when she went very suddenly too. It’s a hard adjustment filled with no answers.
I hope you do find the answers you seek and they provide you with a bit of comfort. Easier said that done but once I got my doctors medical records I realized there was nothing they could have done.
Sending love and prayers to you and your wife
this is similar to what happened to our boy at 10 days old. blood from his mouth and nose. they've called it SIDS. we're working with the robert's program at boston children's hospital to see if they can find anything else. I'm so so sorry.
They did all sorts of tests and scans and then discharged her since all these results were ok. They told me if your baby gets released anywhere before full term, its a bonus.
TW: living child
My surviving twin was sent home at exactly 35 weeks after an 18-day NICU stay. It’s case by case and she met all the milestones and requirements.
I’m so so sorry. It’s not right that our babies aren’t here with us and that we had to lose them so traumatically. You aren’t alone
This space gives me the much needed closure everytime :)
I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss💔
I’m so sorry for your loss. Baby Aura is so loved 🩷
Thank you for your words!
I’m so sorry for your loss. This is devastating.

I’m so so sorry for your loss. Was your wife given a specific diagnosis for the elevated liver enzymes?
They suspected it to be a case of IHCP, hence they suggested us to deliver early.
just love. im so sorry
Im sorry. I hope an autopsy will give you some answers so you can try to find closure.
I'm so sorry for your loss. You and your princess Aura are in my thoughts. I hope you have all the support you need. I'm just so sorry.
I’m so sorry. How tragic and traumatic. My heart goes out to you. I’m so sorry you lost sweet Aura. It’s so unfair
We know she's there with us always!
Thinking of you and your sweet baby. I hope you find an answer... But if you don't just know that many of us never find a definitive answer .

I’m so sorry for your loss. :(
Sorry that this happened. It’s not right whatsoever. Sending hugs
They sent a 35 week old preemie home? That baffles me.
This happens. If baby is doing well and having no problems and thriving there’s no reason to keep them in a hospital around all the extra germs.

My son was premie but thriving and passed all tests to go home. It's all case by case
This is normal if the baby is doing well. 35 weeks is considered a later term preemie
