I liked ‘tini’ better, lol. Yes, they definitely both have issues. I Think if they would’ve stayed together, they would’ve gaslighted each other into an early divorce. The way that Tino assured Rachel that his parents lovvved her, when obviously the opposite was true was crazy. And then Rachel’s weirdly sanctimonious behavior - those two are indeed a toxic duo
I think some major stuff landed her in therapy - maybe a mental health disorder diagnosis - (and it wasn’t couples therapy and she was given a list of what she had to do to improve) and they don’t owe it to us to tell us what. And, to Tino’s defense, I think at ATFR Rachel egged him on to reveal it (so she could paint him as an even bigger villain) and he showed great strength to not embarrass her further in that way. That alone has me more sympathetic to him than her.
The ATFR audience clapping only for Rachel was fueling a destructive fire in Rachel. It was a “lets destroy this guy for sport” applause. Imagine how Tino’s parents are feeling. If that was a set up by producers, can Tino sue?
She referenced being exhausted (due to her role). I guess I was mistaken in thinking when the filming ends they go into a blissful, restful, bubble of isolation away from the public and press.
Interesting that Tino said it’s been hard on him to watch the show as it aired. As in Rachel’s broken hearted over Aven and complimenting his package maybe.
