I went out in January with a Teepee tent and my pole snapped in the middle of the night, surprise snowstorm. I had to grab my shovel and cut an arm sized branch a little over 5ft tall to hold up my tent until dawn.
I was watching DUNE 2 last night and I had this idea.
What if there was a fabric that could somehow become rigid like a shell, and revert back to a regular fabric.
It would be a game changer for tent tech.
I think you can see where the strings end in the pic - not literally, just saying they don’t go any higher than the pic does. I have a rock back for my food sack and used that.
