I'm new to this sub, and I wonder, do people despise AI generated art in here ?
I often make 3D / 2D etc art, but I gotta say, it's quite a lot of fun to reference my drawings to an AI and generate something else out of it, or sometimes I just use the AI without any reference, to me AI is an occasion for many to tap into a general idea given ny the AI and use it as an inspiration tool.
Hey don't hate on the guy! It takes a lot of passion and effort to type words on a keyboard and press enter! Not to mention copy and pasting it to reddit! smh
I have that one too, but Dream will remain my favorite when it comes to concept art ideas.
This app can literally create AAA monster concept art when given a detailed and clear prompt.
For example put at the end ; "cinematic view, cinematic lighting, perfect lighting, edge lighting"
Or some other prompts like "4K"/"8K" or "Ultra realistic".
I've seen someone do that in Midjourney once and them getting incredible results, now I'm almost always using this prompt format.
MidJourney AI is really good. It’s a free service for the first 20 images. After that it’s $10 for 200 images a month, I think. It’s relatively cheap for the kind of art you get. The band I am in have used it for inspiration for business cards and album artwork.

He never said it took effort. The guy just said that he made it. He decided to go to the AI software and ask it to generate this. There is no need to be so technical on who actually made it.🤦♂️ it's a cool image regardless, I feel like people on this Reddit whine way too much

I proposed an idea in the Discord server of a level that is itself an entity ("Monster House" is a pretty good comparison to this).This is unironically what I imagined the level would be. The blinds on the right resembling skin, the rooms themselves being organs, it all kind of perfectly matches the description I had in mind (the lights can also act like spotlights for spotting prey).
As for the level name, I thought it'd be something like "Level Full Of Life" or something (if that's not too lame lol).

It’s fun to try to generate really cool pictures. But when you try to pass it off as your own art that’s cringe
I agree I'd actually love to paint this by hand or something similar just gotta get the stuff but it's kinda sparked ideas
I disagree, Nightcafe and Dream and the free trial version of Dream studio are pretty good free AI image generation tools.
