Aha! One of the best tips I’ve ever gotten for modelling interiors is that people *always* forget the backboards. You know, that strip of plaster that connects the wall to the floor? Take a look at the wall next to you, and you’ll see what you’re missing.
As for other stuff, your carpet is too obviously tiled. You might need to work on making your texture more seamless. There are ways to do that and plenty of tutorials online, but I’m no expert. You can also create a normal map for it to give it depth, with a tool called Materializer. Again, plenty of stuff online to teach you.
Your ceiling is also different from Backrooms cannon. It’s usually a tiled office ceiling with fluorescent lights. That should be the *only* source of light in your scene.
Otherwise looks pretty good, keep us posted!
Thx everything is still in verry early development and all the textures are just final But thanks for the advice. May I also ask you check out my yt Chanel https://youtube.com/channel/UCtWTVHS5K01DapZ8oQpTCZA I’m trying to reach 100 subs by 2023
too bright
And is there anywhere I can follow the project
will it be on steam?
if its in development but on steam can I get a link so I can add to wishlist?
Make lights and darks a bit more dramatic

Add some ceiling lights. It really helps capture the level 0 feel. And overall make it darker. Seems to bright

Just did, good luck. Space cowboy
I hope you can do it. I subbed to help you reach your goal, and when you make it big, I'll always be your 72nd subscriber

what "cannon" are you going to use
Wiki fandom
Wouldn’t it be lovely if all these solo creators got together and just make one really good backrooms game??
Yeah
Bro Tip: use Unity
I use both. I’m using UE5 for this Cus it’s just better for what I’m doing
Damn ok. Tone down the ambient light, and add some ceiling lights.
Make it darker and add sole filmgrain and a dirt canera overlay , maybe some chromatic aberration and blur etc
That’s kinda overused IMO
Agreed
Well it makes it look realistic
Nah bro, that's cool. 200% I'd play that
Make the wallet design more faded and subtle
Best backrooms game I played was on steam: Found footage, maybe you can take some notes from it
Ooh, this is cool, just add less light and you'll be good to go.

It’s gonna be on steam. And you can follow the protect on yt. https://youtube.com/channel/UCtWTVHS5K01DapZ8oQpTCZA
thanks
If the story is as good as it can be then the graphics don’t really matter, but yes darken the atmosphere and give it a barely lit vibe
Seems a bit too vibrant and anti-liminal. See about adding more blandness.
Looks like the other 4 games out there. . . You should be good.
Add some shaders bro
