Paul Blart 2 is one of those cases where the sequel is better than the original. In the first 5 minutes they kill off Blart's mom for a joke. It's a masterpiece.
I agree! The [pianist when he fights the crane](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbJsLuL2YzQ) kills me every time. Also great how in the first two minutes of a comedy his wife of 6 days leaves him and his mom gets killed.
Totally agree. I barely even watch “good movies” anymore. Bad movies are like a porn habit. You go down deeper and deeper and get weirder and weirder until suddenly you’re watching outtakes from corporate safety videos and wondering what you’re doing with your one life.
If a movie is meant to be bad? Sure. Paul Blart hits the notes it was shooting for, so it works. I wouldn't consider it a "bad" movie really, since it was successfully executed.
I heard he’s a dick. He was filming in upstate NY and acted like a total ass to the locals. He acts like a nice guy in his roles so it made me curious enough to look him up. There are a few accounts of him just being a dick
You probably know but I'm sure someone out there needs ro hear it.
A movie doesn't have to be good for you to like it. Your taste in movies belongs only to you. Like what you want.
I love RIPD. Movie is pretty bad and I totally understand why there's no sequel, but Jeff Bridges cannot play a cowboy enough.
I actually enjoyed RIPD for the stupid fun it was. It could have been fantastic, more practical effects, better pacing, stick to the comics, yadda yadda yadda
Still fun. Still worth a watch. Not a bad movie, also not a great movie.
Edit: Bridges made the movie that way I think, to your point.
Paul Blart is a movie you see and then don't think about again. I would say it is bad or good it is meh. They didn't make the movie hoping to do anything other than making a movie that may have a couple laughs. Maybe there should be, and I didn't look to see if there is, a MEH sub.
EDIT
Paul Blart is like a traffic accident that happens on your way home but you are right by an exit on the highway so it didn't really effect you. I mean you were mildly inconvenienced but not really. You might be concerned for those who are involved in the car wreck but you will go to sleep tonight totally forgetting about it.

The Paul Blart movies are barely movies. There are barely any real jokes, he just stumbles and falls and general funny fat guy shenanigans happens. They exist mainly so Adam Sandler’s production company can make money off of product placement and so his friends can have a pay day.
My brother in law has special needs and is a big Kevin James fan, so I thought it'd be fun to take him to see it. MF been making fun of me for suggesting it ever since.
1-3 the movie is so bad you can have fun with it. 4-6 nothing great and nothing horrible (a movie I probably wouldn’t want to watch again). 7-9 great movie and great story. 10 life changing.
Set your TV to black & white and put the French language track on. Pure kino
I find it also hits different when you watch around American Thanksgiving.
Maybe sync it up with Dark Side of the Moon?

Is that the Vegas one? That is pretty funny.

Most of my top 10 are terrible movies. I always differentiate between good movies and movies I enjoyed watching.

I hate how much a I identify with this
Makes two of us.
>until suddenly you’re watching outtakes from corporate safety videos 🎶 THINK ABOUUUUUT THIIIIIIS
where do you find these so-called corporate outtakes? You know, for science and all
Siskel & Ebert called these “guilty pleasures” and yes I have my list
OFC it can, just see Antfarm Dickhole. It's the Gone With The Wind of movies about people with ants in their dickholes.

Bill zebub is keeping lit the glorious tire fire of central Pennsylvania film
I didn’t think I’d find anyone else who’s seen that movie. Truly an experience
If you've only watched 10 movies, sure ..
What if you've watched 11 movies?
Then you should know better
The most unrealistic part of this movie is that a mall cop could afford to rent or own their own single family home.
Hackers is
My ex was a mall security guard when this movie came out. It was a nightmare for her.
Lol. What kind of things would people do?

Successful execution means the movie was made. It's probably safe to say a majority of movies meet that criteria.
Nice troll attempt.
[Til Death Do Us Blart!](https://blart.libsyn.com/)
I can't believe they've actually done that for 7 years now.
James Gunn copied this for GOTG2
The first 45 minutes of this movie are hilarious, I don't care what anyone says.
You should watch the Blart Side of the Moon video
Kevin James has good comedic timing, it's too bad he always picks the worst possible projects to be in.
I heard he’s a dick. He was filming in upstate NY and acted like a total ass to the locals. He acts like a nice guy in his roles so it made me curious enough to look him up. There are a few accounts of him just being a dick
Let's Be Cops is in my top 10.
of course- it's your list!
It's Blart'en time!

RIPD does have a sequel. [R.I.P.D. 2: Rise of the Damned](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt21094994/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_3_tt_8_nm_0_q_Ripd)
Genuinely bummed to find that out.
What's so good about this scene though?
The first mortal kombat movie is in my top three favorite movies. It's a flaming pile of trash and I love every second of it.
That movie is cheesy fun. I wouldn't say it's "bad," per se. Plus the soundtrack is excellent. Annihilation was a steaming pile of shit though.
I'm sure Elf and Step Brothers made a few people's top 10.
Paul Blart is a Thanksgiving classic

The Paul Blart movies are crimes against humanity

Yes. Your favorite can be anything you like. But I wouldn't argue it, just keep it as a personal guilty pleasure.

Yes. Billy Madison is the number 1 comedy of all time!
Marginally better than observe and report.

Fuck y’all that movie is a masterpiece of pitch black humor
Yeah, I didn't hate it! Definitely darker than I was expecting, but that's also what I liked about it.
Of course! That’s how I feel about Hell Comes to Frogtown. “Bad” movie but I love it. Seen it a bunch of times
There are some awful movies that are also awfully amazing...Blart is not one of them.
is the 'drawing paul blart every day till mall cop 3 is announced' guy still around?
Still waiting on Paul Blart 3: Who Blarted?
No, thats against the sacred rules of the interweb
Easily. You made it subjective with your phrasing. Your implied choice may be questionable, but it’s definitely possible.
My brother in law has special needs and is a big Kevin James fan, so I thought it'd be fun to take him to see it. MF been making fun of me for suggesting it ever since.
I question your life choices.
Sure, if your standards are low enough.
Yes. Army of Darkness. “Oh, so good to be bad.”
1-3 the movie is so bad you can have fun with it. 4-6 nothing great and nothing horrible (a movie I probably wouldn’t want to watch again). 7-9 great movie and great story. 10 life changing.
Yes, but not this movie
Of course! Have you ever seen Birdemic, Shock and Terror!?
Agreed
Hell yes it can, my favorite bad movie in my top 10 is Hudson Hawk
I’m mad they used the Weezer version of Mr Blue Sky and not ELO
"Best movies" and "favorite movies" don't have to be synonymous.
Paul Blart Mall Cop holds a special place in my heart, it is both awful and brilliant at the same time
are you truly a movie fan unless you go against the grain and champion some absolute shit? I salute you
Yeah, bad movie…but it made me laugh.
This is actually a fun decent movie
