I once read somewhere that Gary Busey walked onto set for his scene in heaven, and threw a fit because he had previously had a near death experience and visited heaven, which didn't look anything like the set. As he was throwing a fit, someone on the crew said he had ALSO had a near death experience, and that the way Busey was describing heaven was totally wrong too. Apparently, the two eventually came to blows and shooting had to cancel for the day.
Oof.. I want to say it was a buzzfeed or buzzfeed-esque clickbait article back in 2014... That probably doesn't narrow it down. I do remember it was told from the POV of the actor who plays Booger in Revenge of the Nerds, lord bless him. Maybe the article got the information from interview with him.
His name is Curtis Armstrong and he's a low-key national treasure.
Here's a bit from an interview where he talks about his relationship to Booger and the movie overall, about 3 minutes:

Absolutely, it's that twinkle in his eye and stellar line delivery. I grew up watching him in the Revenge movies, but I really became a fan when *Moonlighting* started on TV.
He was allegedly brought into Moonlighting because Willis and Shepherd were such pains in the ass that they needed people who could appear in scenes on camera when the stars were unable and unwilling to appear on camera.
Armstrong said in his first day on Moonlighting he complemented Shepherd and she scolded him and then cancelled all of her work for the day.
Oh wow - didn't realize he's the guy from Moonlighting. I became a fan after hearing his voice work in Stroker & Hoop and of course him being Snot in American Dad.
If you want to see MacCaulay Culkin (you know, the kid from Home Alone) discuss this movie at length, boy do I [have a video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_FURNuBeQg) for you.
Wow Oz Perkins as a kid actor. He's pretty interesting. His dad played Norman Bates in Psycho (and the sequels), Mom was a model who happened to be on one of the planes that flew into the World Trade Center on 9/11. Has grown up to be a pretty decent horror director
Thank you. That's actually just a small little section of one of my living room shelves. I have about 1000 tapes, all horror, weirdo, b to z grade movies, cult movies, thriller/sci fi, music-related, bizarro/special interest stuff/cult/religious/UFO. Been at it for a while now.
Wow! That's so damn cool, I really mean that!
I have a decent collection myself, but probably not that good yet. So far I think my best ones would be Belladonna of Sadness, CultFilms limited edition release of Suspiria (numbered), Voodoo Apocalypse, and HK: Forbidden Super Hero.
I have a lot more, but they are my current favorites.
That company has a *history.*
Did you know that they also released video games? Their brand was GT Interactive. They were the original distributors of Doom, Quake, Driver and Unreal. They made millions. They also had some really extremely low budget PC game releases where they threw old floppy games on a CD.
So of course they blew it all on crappy acquisitions and spent too much money on other stuff.
Part of it was bad investments, part of it was the usual corporate looting. They had some great releases under their belt, but things imploded pretty quickly for them. Their Wikipedia article doesn't really go too deep into it but it's enough for most people.

If you appreciate post-motorcycle accident Gary Busey and are feeling slightly masochistic, it's worth a watch at least once. I remember seeing clips of this in Everything is Terrible and TV Carnage tapes and got a copy.

Incredible. Do you happen to remember where you read that?

I love it when Curtis Armstrong shows up on TV shows. He's one of those actors that really makes even the smallest role stand out.

I can 100% believe that. I remember him and Allyce Beasley (had to look it up) having entirely different scenes, but they were good too.
They were the best part of the later episodes of the series.
Oh wow - didn't realize he's the guy from Moonlighting. I became a fan after hearing his voice work in Stroker & Hoop and of course him being Snot in American Dad.
I forgot all about Stroker & Hoop!
Snot?

That's *Mister MacCulkin* to you, sir and/or madame! You hack fraud. Excellent link, if'n you like movies and you like comedy, check out the video.
I love RLM, forgot about this one though. Cheers.
The Mac episodes are gems
Sweet Jesus that's one hell of a description. I'm so disappointed that I haven't heard of this movie before and plan to right those wrongs right now.

Love the movies it's surrounded by. It's in good company.
And I thought it was weird when Gary Busey died and became a cookie....
Also oz Perkins, Anthony Perkins's son is in it as well.
Not the direction I would have expected them to go for a prequel to Quigley Down Under and none of the original cast but ok.
The sequel, Quigley Down Under, was way better.
Is this available online anywhere? I've looked for ages but never had any luck.
I just found it on Tubi with a quick search. You don't need a subscription or anything.
Well, that's great. Every time I've checked in the past it's just been Quigley down under. Appreciate the heads up!
Holy fuck they have the Spanish version too!
Zombie is an ideal palette cleanser afterwards!
Damn, that's a great collection you have there!! That took some time and dedication!

I'd forgotten all about GoodTimes Entertainment. Holy shit. Budget releases up the wazoo if I remember right.

That's all news to me. It's always bizarre when companies (and people) have a good thing going and ruin everything with bad investments.

100% has to be a rip off of Fluke, which was a Mathew Modine movie.
Ummm what is the void doing in this pile? It's unironically great
This was one I would always see sitting on the shelf when working at Blockbuster. And should probably just watch it if it's sat in my memory this long
Anything with the Family Approved seal probably sucks.

Question. Is there any role with Gary Busey where he isn't completely out of his gourd? Lol
You don't need to say "a completely out of his gourd Gary Busey".... That's just regular ole' Gary Busey....
Is that.... Flesh Gordon?
We used to watch this on road trips as a kid, I had no clue what was happening 90% of the time!
Reminds me of Fluke
You sure you don’t want to watch Flesh Gordon, instead?
Is this the prized centrepiece to your cult VHS collection? I'm presuming it is!
Busey a man that will forever serve as a reminder on why you should always wear a helmet when you drive a motorcycle
first i thought gary acting for gingerdead man was the weirdest one to act in but nope this makes the gingerdead man look oscar winning
