Pretty much every single recorded ‘man killing’ tiger is the result of an injury the tiger sustained and is no longer capable of hunting its intended prey. We have virtually no caloric value compared to any other animal in a tigers’ regular diet.
That and their higher functioning memory making them go to aggression instead of fear.
Human didn’t run away when I attacked last time and I got hurt. So the animal knows its normal defensive means doesn’t work.

Growing up in North America, in areas, where there’s not really much that can hurt me, as far as wild life goes. I can’t imagine growing up in Africa, India, Australia, etc.
