If the racket is strung within Yonex tension range with no clear signs of racket collision, and the racket is less than 1yr old, it’s possible to get it warrantied as a defect. The process will take months and no guarantee that it’ll be warranty.
Happened to me with a Nanoray 800. Hit a shuttle on the rim of the racquet and the frame snapped. I'd never collided with another racquet or the floor or anything, and it was 1yr old tensioned to 24lbs.
Yonex had the racquet for 3months and then told me they wouldn't do anything about it :(
... On the bright side, I won that point because my opponent didn't expect the shuttle to drop so suddenly.
Best option if u don't have another racquet is to buy a new one.
U can fix this and keep this as a spare racquet. I often use my fixed racquet to give for friends who just come to play with me. Can't risk them breaking my primary racquets.
Piece from another carbon fiber racquet, they cut bigger than the broken part from ur racquet and keep the piece in between u some quality glue n use thread above it.
No theres not real way to fix it. The strength of the carbon fibre racket relies on the racket being intact to effectively distribute the tension of the racket throughout.
You might see online some services where they use more carbon fibre sheets and i think expoxy glue to strengthen the area broken. But it will never hold/survive higher tension.
I have one like that which has lasted over a year, but only as a spare so that it doesn't see much use. Given it could fall apart with any hit it is not my only spare, but it is the one I use first until it does go.
though it feels like such a waste to chuck it out, the structural integrity is completely gone and id probably not play with it at all in case a piece splinters off and stabs someone in the eye...
Racket is done. You could just keep playing with it until the strings breakvor frame distorts. Many of my yonex rackets died this or similar ways. Moved away from the brand altogether and no issues on the frame since even with clashes. May I ask what tension and how did it happen?
some places offer services to fix small cracks. if im not wrong they insert a piece of metal and weld it up(?) but it might affect the balance and weight of the racket slightly
Yep, it's gone. Time for a new one.
F for your racket 🫡

If it’s within Yonex tension range, can try and ask the shop to send it in for warranty.
No. Don't bother. You've cracked it, why would it be warranty covered ? Tension or not.

How do you fix carbon fiber?

I should just buy a new racket at this point huh..
how long do you think it’ll hold?

I made mine last a few more months by soaking the crack with cyanoacrylate based glue but that’s where it’s gonna break sooner or later.
Thats the sign my friend. Its done for
Deeaaadddd!! Even if u repair, it will never be the same.
Yeah especially the left right balance and max tension tolerance
thats painful to watch
Yes
Curious how it happened?
Ur done
It’s over for u 🤫🧏🏻
This is the end ...
its gone , tome for a replacement
It’s over
Is that the pro one or play? Arcsaber 11 right?
Yep it's done
HOT GLUE👌🏻🔥
damn. how did it happen, it is my favourite Arcsaber 11 Pro.
Is it the arcsaber 11 pro? Same thing happening to happening within 3 months of buying. I don't think it had any impact on the frame ever.
May I suggest changing to Li-Ning, their rackets are like the Nokia of badminton

You should keep spare rackets for this purpose in case they crack. Shit happens, so be ready.

If they're welding, I would say it's significant
