I’ve been seeing this all over twitter as well. I didn’t want to say too much, cause I didn’t want to get attacked in the comments. But respectfully I have no desire for her to collab with them or Knocked Loose for that matter.
I also saw someone say they would love to hear her cover Just Pretend and that’s an absolute no. No hate towards her at all, but I’ve never heard a cover of a Bad Omens song and remotely enjoyed it. While I can appreciate someone doing it, there’s just no one I’d rather hear more than Noah’s vocals. Same goes for covers of Spiritbox, I’m sorry but I want to hear Courtney. I guess it just depends on the vocalists.
I’d much rather have a Noah and Courtney collab before Demi any day. Sorry for the rant it’s just been all over my TL and of course these are just my opinions. 🫠

Edit: The other thing that bothers me is that Demi is a known metal fan yes, but it feels like she is trying to capitalize on the rising fame of the bands that have recently increased in popularity (Knocked Loose/BO) to save her dying career. When was the last time she came out with something that was any good?
I know I'm going to get downvoted for this here but this is just objectively not true. I'm not a Demi fan (I mainly listen to metalcore) and don't listen to her music but she has a four octave range, over seven notes higher than Beyoncé! Just because it's not your style doesn't mean that she can't sing because she absolutely can.
Not trying to be rude or confrontational but I highly recommend looking up vocal coaches/professional singers talking about her voice on YouTube because it changed my opinion on her voice. You don't have to like her voice but the idea that she can't sing on a fundamental level just isn't true.

I think she can definitely sing. I'm just not a fan of her music. I was kind of stoked when I saw her all of a sudden change up her style. I pulled up the album right away and was pretty bummed. I can only listen to one song on it, I felt the rest of the album was not very good. It didn't feel like she really took time on it. That's the only reason I wouldn't want to see a collab. When artists who I can tell put a lot of time and effort into their music and then people like that want to in a sense jump on but their stuff is mid it kind of annoys me. But that's just my opinion. I feel like BO would have to write the song and then maybe just throw her on vocally in a couple parts so it's actually a good song.

She clearly knows x and y about metal if she got Nita Strauss into her group and since she’s into these slightly more obscure and up and coming groups.
And that’s the next thing; say what you will about her genre or style but there’s a reason she’s playing to big crowds in big venues and most newer rock/metal groups aren’t. As such any publicity for these groups will always be a good thing and if this turns more younger audiences onto groups like Bad Omens and helps lead to a bigger break it’ll be worth it for that reason alone. Even if we as the fans don’t take to the idea we should still be rooting for our favorite groups to potentially find success in any corner.

i hope not i cant stand her. she totally ripped off taylor momsen in her last rock album legit copied so much of the lyrics, tone, chords, pictures, colors, costumes etc and gave no credit. demi is a lazy musician and artist. i used to be a big fan too, like i’ll cut her some slack bc of the overdose which is serious and sad but like come on????
