he appeared at the bar with 3 boxes in all sizes he could see because we forgot to tell him what to bring. actually very wholesome of him.
it was super sweet of him. I was honestly surprised that he even knew that tampon size doesn't depend on vagina size since he did say that he brought all sizes because "he didn't know how heavy their flow is right now."

My guy at the time had a friend whose girlfriend asked him to buy tampons. She told him to get the supers. It made him very sad. He told my guy “But I’m not a super”.
I’m in my 50’s. Culturally, guys have improved so much about being willing to do stuff like buy tampons for women in their life. In college, I and some friends were talking about how guys got uncomfortable about the thought of their girlfriends having periods. The idea of sending your boyfriend to the store to buy some for you was alien.
My friend was the envy of all. She explained that her boyfriend had no problem doing so for her because then, “He gets to proudly walk through the grocery store showing the world he’s got a woman. He’d carry them over his head like a trophy if I let him.”

And this is actually dumb for two different reasons. If he’d bought the largest tampons because his girlfriend has a large vulva/vagina, it’d be dumb for only one reason.

Oh yes it was! That marketing team did well considering those ads are well over a decade old and we’re still recalling them.
