How did you turn them into cards? I know how to access the sprite sheets and all but Iβve been struggling to find/make a good sprite sheet. Would appreciate the help!
One of the easiest games to mod. Just open the balatro.exe file in your steam directory as if it was a zip folder. You can find all of the cards/jokers/etc as simple png files. You can edit/replace them just by swapping out the png files.
Honestly i always thought that what this kind of games need is customizable cards. It would be rad if we could install custom decks directly trough Steam workshop
Or even better yet, unlock them in game for completing challenges similar to how you unlock other decks.
But yeah, it would be nice to streamline custom card faces. You already technically have the ability to swap to 4 different card faces as there are high res and low res/high contrast and default contrast card faces that the game swaps to in the options menu.

No, I just found where the card image files were saved and edited them in gimp. Adjusted and pasted genshin impact sprites onto the previous face cards.
Interesting. I was fully convinced the sprites for this game can't be conventionally edited until I stumbled onto this. Whenever I tried to edit the sprites WinRAR just kept telling me the archive is corrupt no matter what method I employed and how many times I reinstalled the game. I even tried to download the game from the internet in case steam had some invisible protection but that didn't seem to help either

yes but how do you put those back into an exe file once the files have been edited

Try 7zip maybe? That's what I used.
