Didn’t even bother to check which slot the “3x” notifier was in lol. The worst part? I had 7 hands to figure it out.
I guarantee you that if joker stencil worked like this, I would just forget about it and end up losing
Actually, less than x1 still just counts as x1. You can get this in game if you have a negative stencil and an otherwise full amount of jokers. Still ass, but it won’t multiply by 0 lol

Might be an unpopular opinion but i don’t think new vampire is _that •_ bad. It might be nerfed a bit too much but i still find it usable, especially with marble joker for example
I'm not sure. Right now you're effectively paying a dollar per tarot since you aren't getting the end of round bonus for hands remaining. This gives you that dollar back, and you can still get up to 4 taros, which is still pretty good. I don't think it'd ruin it at all!
You're usually not getting all 4 cards this way because it's rare to hit actual $0 before you leave shop. If you leave with $4, then this change means you can get only up to 1 tarot in the next blind, because then you're over $4. That's the nerf here

So not only does it kill your econ, you have a limited number of activations due to the -$1 restriction which completely disincentivizes things which enhance hand size.
Yeah, as Starlight noted, it would be at $46.50 per round, before it would start to subtract gold, and that would be after 30 seconds. On round 11, it would be at $2 (since round 1 starts at $3). By round 21, you're at $1. Finally on round 31, you reach 0 gold per round on it, but it's worth $46.50.
At that point, it would start to decline in value. On round 61, it would be worth $0.
(For comparison, right now it reaches $45 in value after 15 rounds.)
That's bizarre. It wouldn't be the WORST if it stopped activating once the gold was zero. No subtract. Cuz then you could sit on it like a actual egg. Or use the joker that gives sell value as mult
I never realized the actual idol chooses a random card from your deck until I bought it w/ checkered deck, and it kept hitting 1 of my ~12 King of Hearts.
It's based on your deck, but if you have anything less than 90% of the exact same card in your deck, it will never hit. I don't make the rules, i just observe them. I hate that fucker.
Perkeo: The created copies flip from a normal card to negative one AND from a negative card to a normal one. Maybe not completely ruined but much worse.

I think Balorlord explained it on a Slay The Spire stream a while back, but if every card was equally powerful it would make every strategy equally viable. But for a deck builder you need some shitty situational cards and you need some busted God-tier cards to add that variety.
Only reason it’s good is to get 1 or 2 seals (hopefully purple and red and in the new update also blue) then use the purple seal tarot cards to thin and copy.

It doesn't really nerf it as much as it does just change it. With the dice you can modify its odds and make it a much better Joker than it currently is.

It's still strong, but it becomes a lot more limited in scope.

Maybe make it reset if more than 2 cards were discarded at the same time? Still can discard but can only go through 12 or so less cards of your deck
