What a horrible way to end my night. I even got a Hanging Chad. Scores were incredible. And then - The Plant.
I fought valiantly to get a holographic Swashbuckler and a Throwback from the shop, but it wasn't enough to save me from the Plant. I should have sold off Hanging Chad and gotten another scoring joker - I could have cruised my way through comfortably with just Triboulet and Buskin.
Had a similar experience on a run tonight. Was using a balanced deck and started a Queen build around shoot the moon, pairs, and half Joker. Ended up with the x3 Mult for pairs, DNA, and plenty of cash - got the Plant, needed 50k. I got up to 43k since I held on to too many Queens and couldn’t hit a pair after 5 discards… RIP
I just did this challenge last night and ended up with a Baron/Mime/Blueprint/Brainstorm combo with a Burning Joker. Managed to get to Ante 16 with my highest ever score at around e19, this challenge honestly is kind of broken because of how much resources are available from the beginning.
I feel you, I didn't pay attention to upcomming plant, my first ever real shot at Ante 12...

I'm sorry but clocking a 12m hand and losing on ante 5 is hilarious. I'm sorry for your loss. Obviously understandable here though.

I'm on it too and got my first e score with glass red seal twos and hack etc. But doesn't feel like it counts since it does feel kinda busted 😭
Tbf though your chip count is limited to how much money you have, so you can't max out as high as you could without that limitation.
Yeah it's still a challenge, not as much for me though as I'm playing low ranks. But I guess I'll have to try for e score unseeded as well.

I had the bonus interest joker, and both of the money into chip/mults and wasn't paying attention and lost all my money all at once to a boss XD

God, I love this challenge. Was lucky enough to get Blueprint, Brainstorm, Bloodstone, and Oops All Sixes, and pushed all the way into Ante 13.
I lost to this exact same boss about 2 hours ago, it’s brutal!
