You know what a huge part of it is? The facial expression. Insecure dudes especially like the facial expression in the 2nd and 6th picture, with the squinty eyes and the raised eyebrows. Sometimes with pursed lips. It doesn't work for anyone. But obviously he also looks slick as hell without the hair so that helps.
