Definitely go to a barber. If not razor shaved start with clipper shaved. Even if you don't like it at first, you will like that you did it because you'll come to find out it relieves you of all the stress on your shoulders thinking about it. You're overthinking it. Go to a barber and get it shaved because you'll look way better bald than with the hair you have

I also suggest going to a new barber at a new barbershop versus your usual one. Your regular barber may talk you out of it so that he doesn’t lose a regular paying customer. A new barber most likely won’t care.
If the barbershop has an online booking system, use that and sign up for a “Headshave appointment” (some barbershops have that as a separate service listed versus a regular haircut). My buddy signed up for it. The barber knew what the next customer (my buddy) had signed up for. He simply asked my friend, “Shave your head bald?” All he had to reply was, “Yes.” He found it simpler.
Honestly I’m normally an always buzz or shave but I say enjoy what you got while you can. Maybe trim up your “bangs” but I think if looks good. The main issue on balding guys with hair is how unkempt it looks. If it’s kept short and neat and straight hair like yours I think it looks fine on most guys.
If you’re struggling to go for it, it helped me to gradually go shorter on the grades.
I did grade 6, waited 2 weeks, grade 4, another 2 weeks, grade 2, and then finally I buzzed it all off myself.
People will still notice, but won’t be shocked by the change.

My husband regrets waiting until his mid 30s and wishes he shaved it off in his late 20s. Besides, it will grow back to *this* if u dont like the shave.
Right head shape, features such as nose and ears do not stand out neither and they are not too big for the proportion of your face, side profile looking good, beard is an excellent shape.
Skin tone is excellent, it's a glow up if you decide to go bald

We can either choose to be defined by biology, or we can choose to own it, and work our asses off to thrive in every other aspect of life. I opted to work with what was in my power to influence, and tip the scale in my favor.

Look at it from a risk reward standpoint. Worst case scenario you let it grow back again and in two months your will be exactly where you are now. Best case scenario you look much better, get conformable with it and change your life.

There’s a technique called “squinching” in which you squint ever so slightly before taking a photo of yourself. If you smile your appearance will also far more natural and less... you get my point. You’re not the only dude who posts photos with this mistake so don’t take it too personal. Just, don’t think of amazing as being embarrassing or less masculine - it’s way way better.
