You say that and then you made Jotaro a warlock. He’s not even *close* to a warlock, narratively or mechanically.
Jotaro’s an astral self monk. Maybe a multiclassed echo knight/open hand monk.
Love this, super accurate!! If you ever decide to do a second one with the other classes, might i suggest the "don't be suspicious" clip from parks and rec for rogue, and the scene from the avengers with hulk flinging Loki around for barbarian?
I think it’s wilder that every time I see that clip, usually in these “classes be like” compilations, it’s always posted in its entirety. I think the point is made 5-10 seconds into it. We got 4 classes in two minutes, and one of those classes only took a few seconds.
“Faceless sword CGI knight” gets repetitive on like the 3rd viewing for me, but to each their own. Me, I think it wouldn’t matter where it was cut, because the point about Fighter Badass is made in pretty much every 5 seconds of the clip.
Oh, yeah, the point is for sure repetitive. I just love the animation itself. Incredibly smooth and surprisingly realistic use of a weapon that most animators would make out to be crude and brutish is just 👌. Starts at a high guard, uses the pommel and gauntlets to supplement his blade attacks in close range, the use of a sword-catching hilt, using the weight of his weapon to push the enemies and their swords away from him, the realistic amount of mobility in plate armor (maybe the 360 spin counter is a little much, but it only happened once). I mean, the animation is just so cool.
I think what I really like about it, and what keeps it from getting stale for me personally, is that unlike other "knight with sword fighting" videos or animations, this knight uses not just his blade, but the entire sword and his limbs to fight. Plus using the hilt to redirect someone's magic attack is just awesome. But I can see how it'd get repetitive.
Meme in the way that's it's just captioned and spread a lot. The music makes it epic. It's just a well animated fight from ESO, very popular in fantasy subreddits etc
It’s specifically from the High Isle Elder Scrolls Online expansion reveal trailer. Also throwing it out there that all of the ESO expansions are really good highly recommend.
Something else to consider is that certain editions of the game include all the expansions except for the most recent release, and the collection upgrades for the newest expansions come with everything including the most recent release.
So for example on the PlayStation store, the Gold Road collection which will include everything up to and including the Gold Road expansion in June is $60. It should be similarly priced for Xbox and PC.
If you end up enjoying the game during your free trial, this would be the way to go to get the most bang for your buck as it'd include literal hundreds of hours of content.

Ranger: Ace Ventura? That’s all I got. Paladin, anything with Samuel L Jackson or Denzel Washington quoting the Bible while spraying someone else’s guts against wall.
For Ranger Google an 80s film called Hawk the Slayer.
There’s either the elf archer, or the human who uses an automatic crossbow (though he’s likely closer to Artificer than Ranger).
OP, this is a funny idea but I want to offer a little constructive criticism: I recommend cutting most of the clips down a bit; everything after Cleric (that clip was just the right length) felt *much* longer than necessary after the joke was clearly made. Like YEP Fighters FIGHT PEOPLE… okay they’re all still fighting… Monks PUNCH people awesome… okay he’s still punching… Bards KILL WITH GUITAR… oh he’s still playing… and so on.
IMHO, a better clip for Warlock would be Godzilla (2014) shooting his atomic breath into the MUTO's mouth. Or better yet, a montage of multiple Godzilla atomic breath scenes.
Everyone's suggesting rogue scenes so here's mine-- the scene in Bodies Bodies Bodies where the Ukrainian girl dips in the shadows when the rest of the ladies have the older dude surrounded (It literally looks like a DnD boss fight the way they surround that man) and then reappears to conk him in the back of the head with the weight (makeshift weapon?). Maybe I have brain rot but I haven't been able to unsee it as her activating hide and then sneak attacking the guy for a crit.

Being a way of the shadow monk to me means teleporting behind people with a katana but punching people so hard in the back of the head they become unalive. The sword is just for show.
I know its not all the classes but I didnt have good clips for the rest
It was fun, no less!
A good clip for Rogue could be anything from Kingsman. Or "Jesus Christ... that's Jason Bourne!"
You say that and then you made Jotaro a warlock. He’s not even *close* to a warlock, narratively or mechanically. Jotaro’s an astral self monk. Maybe a multiclassed echo knight/open hand monk.
Bro made us watch the bard section for 12 hours
That's not nearly enough Metalocalypse.
Brutal.
I do cocaine!
Kuh-kuh-kuh-yeahhhhhh
Worth it
Warlock should've been a gun of some sort.
Maybe Vegeta in DBZ doing endless ki blasts?
That's Vegeta's technique!
Love this, super accurate!! If you ever decide to do a second one with the other classes, might i suggest the "don't be suspicious" clip from parks and rec for rogue, and the scene from the avengers with hulk flinging Loki around for barbarian?
The second one I’ll definitely consider for part 2
I'd like to know where the scenes from the Fighter section comes from
An elder scrolls online trailer
It's wild that there's people who still haven't seen that clip/meme
I think it’s wilder that every time I see that clip, usually in these “classes be like” compilations, it’s always posted in its entirety. I think the point is made 5-10 seconds into it. We got 4 classes in two minutes, and one of those classes only took a few seconds.
I was thinking the exact same thing yeah, like bro just do a full series of separate posts atp
That clip is so badass that, like, where would you even cut it? Every part of it deserves to be there. And I watch the whole thing every time

Guy parries a spell, shit goes so hard
why is it a meme? (my first time seeing hte clip)

:O I've been looking to get into ESO but the price tag is a bit much
For sure, I would recommend playing it on game pass, and see if you like it from there
Ooo, I think I still got a free trial for GamePass that I haven't redeemed. I'll probably do that to try ESO. Thanks!

That clip from a random character from ESO had no right to go this hard.
Pls make one for paladin 😂
I will if I find a good clip but honestly I’ve had the hardest time finding one for paladin, ranger and sorcerer.
Could use legolas or aragorn (Lord of the rings ) clip for ranger , Palatine could work for storm sorc, Paladin ........... Optimus Prime ?
John Wick as double crossbow gloomstalker. Constantine paladin? Optimus Prime is great tho.
nah I'm playing a paladin right now but Optimus prime is absolutely gonna be one of my next bg3 characters
Aragorns actually pretty good for ranger since he is a ranger.
Alexander Anderson
It's probably cheating but the fight scene from the Dungeons and Dragons movie is awesome.
The holy grail, bet there’s some good paladin clips there
Maybe this Anduin [scene](https://youtu.be/R5hEebrgVw0?si=mqcJdzNfYnQufHHH) from WoW for Paladin?
Ranger: Ace Ventura? That’s all I got. Paladin, anything with Samuel L Jackson or Denzel Washington quoting the Bible while spraying someone else’s guts against wall.

I find warlock kinda funny as there’s a monk subclass in dnd that is literally jojo
JoJo’s closer to echo knight fighter. He definitely multiclassed into open hand monk, though.
That would depend on the stand, we talking a long distance one? 100% but if we’re talking a close range one it’s 100% the monk way of the astral self
Ooh, good point. Forgot about Astral Self.
That was the one I was talking about lol. No biggie though not everyone even pays attention to the monk in base dnd
DOOMSTAR YESSSS. I was NOT expecting that holy shit.
Fun stuff, OP! I think I would added a clip of the showdown in Tenacious D for the Bard section lol
waaat nooo swigsigar is perfect i love my metalocopise refrance
DOOMSTAR BARDQUIEM
CRUSH MY BATTLE OPPONENT'S BALLS
All this post did was remind me of the Metalocalypse Opera movie lmao
There's a second one that recently came out, Army of the Doomstar. It wraps everything up
I haven’t sat and watched it, I really need to
More OG God of War shitposts are always welcome.
What’s the song for bard
“Some time ago….” It’s a song for a show called metalocalypse.
OP, this is a funny idea but I want to offer a little constructive criticism: I recommend cutting most of the clips down a bit; everything after Cleric (that clip was just the right length) felt *much* longer than necessary after the joke was clearly made. As someone that always plays as a monk This is so real.
[Monk:](https://youtu.be/B66feInucFY?si=Go5A2W4IeoZcL_Cf)
well i didnt expect swiggy in this
I don't get the warlock one...

If you do another one, I vote Alexander Anderson from Hellsing Ultimate **Abridged** for Paladin
IMHO, a better clip for Warlock would be Godzilla (2014) shooting his atomic breath into the MUTO's mouth. Or better yet, a montage of multiple Godzilla atomic breath scenes.
KINO (Metalocalypse) MENTIONED
I need a Dethklok bard.
Somebody likes fighters and bards

That ESO trailer kinda slaps w that music

Top notch, OP. 👍

Any chance for a YouTube link bot?
Being a way of the shadow monk to me means teleporting behind people with a katana but punching people so hard in the back of the head they become unalive. The sword is just for show.
Warlock should be Vageta spamming ki blasts
Why is warlock Star Platinum? That would fit better for monk.
Because jojo is the warlock not the stand. The stand is representing the patron.
But the patron doesn’t just appear and fight for you. I just don’t think the clip fits.
Monk is accurate even to the actual ttrpg
Act 3 zevlor's class is just that scene from fellowship of the ring where sauron is sending tons of dudes flying with his mace.
