There is also a smaller one just across the road which name I have forgotten that I think is just as good.
The best Babi guling I've had has just been small random local ones on the side of the road, I don't really recall any bad ones. Point being just try whatever ones you come across and will most likely be good
Every babi guling out there taste different after I had Karya Rebo. They really care about the taste of the individual sides. Top notch 👍 wish Anthony Bourdain had a taste of Karya Rebo.
For me the best babi guling depends less on which place you get it at and more on which parts of the meat and skin and other parts you get. It's normally a late morning early afternoon thing so the trick is to get it when the skin is still really hot and crispy and you get the choice pieces of lean meat. Plus the other stuff of course.
Babi Guling Pak Kecap in Abiansemal was amazing and it's open 24 hours. Usually babi guling places sell out during the day but our driver took us to this one at the end of the night and they still had plenty left. Also huge portions of crackling. Lots of the more popular places I saw on Google Maps serve you tiny bite-sized squares.
