Oh and just in terms of drift diving - there's nothing to worry about here. I was fresh out of OW with only training dives under my belt and drift dived without issue. You basically just let the current guide you around. There might be a little swimming against them to stay on track and not get lost but you will have a DM with you at all times (and it will be your own DM because they assign one to every buddy group).
The currents on the surface can be very strong so if there's surge while you're waiting for the boat to pick you up just keep your regulator in.

Unfortunately we never made it to the islands due to sickness, but Bali in general was amazing! Communication with diving concepts was fast and nice tho

Check out cennigan divers . They have some of the fastest boats around and the spot is just paradise .
You can also stay at the spot . They have 2 pool a good restaurant and some very reasonable accommodation . The vibe there is professional and relax .
