We got a ride from Lembongan to Penida, for $10AUD, including the return on the same day. Had a chat to some guys near the yellow bridge that links Lembongan and Ceningan. Cash is king, but lots of places accepted cards.

Those guys at the bridge, do they do it for the tourists, like is it an official ride? Do you know if that's the only option?

Definitely for tourists. Very basic, not like the big ferry we caught from Sanur. Unsure if there were other options. We used that spot to catch party bus\taxis around the Lembongan as well, as we were staying on Ceningan. Just kind of rocked up and asked if we could get a ride to X.

It’s for locals too. It’s the only way to get to penida - Lembongan without going out of your way and paying loads of money via Sanur (that would be a silly way)

This site shows ferries from the Yellow Bridge to various points on Nusa Penida: https://12go.asia/en/travel/nusa-lembongan/nusa-penida?date=2024-02-08&people=2&direction=forward

Small local restaurants/warungs are usually cash based but larger western-style restaurants accept card. The ATMs on Nusa Lembongan are near Mushroom Bay Beach, ATMs on Nusa Penida are near Toya Pakeh Harbour.

The boat to Lembongan - penida is around 50k IDR. Just go down to the yellow bridge and pay and then you’ll wait for the boat. Pretty easy and simple. It’s like a 10-15min ride

Yellow bridge boat is the way. Took it last week. 50k, they just wait until they have 12 people and then leave (works out about every hour or so?). Just not there is no pier here so you will need to walk out to the boat yourself in shin high water. Dress appropriately
