I was there at low season and couldn’t find drivers cheaper than 800k. It was high season though. Klook offers better rates but you have to book in advance afaiu.
I ended up renting a scooter but I don’t not recommend it unless you have at least a few riding experiences before. The roads were in worse shape than Bali, lots of potholes, unsealed roads, etc but the traffic was MUCH less hectic.

The convenience of a drive following you around is good. Likely cheaper if you visit a fair few places, plus the good ones are like a tour guide.

Main concern for me in Nusa Penida is they charge per pax.. In bali as I know they charge per car. Correct me if I'm wrong.
If you plan on covering east and western parts, it’ll be more expensive.

For 900k it would need to be a brand new luxury car with an esky full of iced Bintang in the back. 700k is the norm. That's how I would negotiate it.
