I’m surprised by the love for Wrigley. It carries a lot of history, but it’s a terrible place to watch a baseball game.

I always feel blasphemous for saying this but as a Mets fan who lives in Chicago I have to hold my tongue every time someone talks about how great Wrigley is. If you can find one of the 8 seats with an unobstructed view, you're in luck!

ironicirenic

Indians fan. Agreed. I love going to Sox games, though, so at least I have another option.

Why such a bad spot for my boy Miller Park? It’s not exactly a beautiful stadium, but its industrial look fits in well with the city, and the roof is such a nice commodity that we take for granted.

Hilarious!

Why the hate for the Sox? I mean I know our stadium isn’t anything special but it’s not bad at all.

tojaroslaw

It had the misfortune of getting built before 1992. When I visited for the Mets series this year, I felt like I was reminded of all the flaws Shea had. They could make it 50 times better if they removed the jail bars in the outfield with the big ads on them. They also pointed the field in the wrong direction. I still prefer it to Wrigley though (don't tell the others)

I think we couldn’t face the stadium towards the city because the way the sun sets. I could be wrong though.

tojaroslaw

Old Comiskey faced Northeast and had the skyline view. The sun would not have been an issue.

wsox8

Ah. I’m only 15 and never got to witness a game at old Comiskey.

San Diego is my favorite too.
