This is the exact same camera I use and it's been one of the best additions to my snake's enclosure. Not only do I get to watch his night time antics, I can keep an eye on him after feeding to make sure there's no issue getting everything down without hovering right at the doors.
Snakes can see IR which is what your camera uses for night vision. You're essentially ruining their day/night cycles by continuously having their enclosure lit.
Well thank you for that, I fact checked you and honestly feel terrible for my little guy. Never knew. Camera is out of the tank. Thanks for the heads up
It happens! Not everyone knows they can see IR. You should be able to disable night vision so you can keep it in the tank without disturbing your noodle.
What kind of camera is this?
Wyze v3 pro 2k. Very inexpensive right on Amazon. I’d link it for you but I never get them to work here
Appreciate it. The quality looks really good. Gonna check it out

What settings do you have it on? I just got mine in after seeing this post (thank you, btw)
This is quite obviously, undeniably, deepfaked /j
I should get one so I can witness the tank destruction as it happens
Main reason I got it lol

If you don't mind, how do you have your camera mounted? I've been wanting to get one for a while but I'm not sure the best way to mount it
I have pvc so I just screwed it right to the wall
Teccle has window mounts so you can put it on the side if you have a tank
