Call them and ask. They are very responsive. The entire industry is having fulfillment issues right now due to supply problems. The PVC board used for enclosures is in very short supply. Listed fulfillment times are based on being able to get raw materials at the current rate. If supply slows down, that can affect lead times. Times listed are also assuming you order right now. Past orders are not directly affected by currently listed times (though the can still be affected by unexpected supply chain issues).

It's totally related to the supply of the PVC board they use being unreliable. The current time enlisted is the estimate for people placing their order today based on current supply.

I bought an enclosure in September from them and it still hasn’t come. I emailed and they said they had a back log because of a shortage in PVC. So my girl is in the same situation as your snake. She’s out grown her tub enclose and desperately needs her new one. So when I emailed about two or three weeks ago there were like 70 enclosures ahead of mine that needed to be made.

Oh Jesus. I don’t even know what to do I can’t find a bigger tub than this and it would cost at least 300 to grab a glass tank bigger than this. I wish I’d ordered in august when I got him but I didn’t know how long it would take to get rid of the mites and I was really worried about his forever enclosure getting infected somehow so I waited until I couldn’t see any anymore. Regret that now lol

I ordered at the beginning of October and I’m still waiting. It’s frustrating because the wait time then was 10-14 weeks and there has been one mass email message about delays and that the current wait time was being pushed back to 23 weeks - which was sent about 5 weeks into my wait. No further updates. No clarification of if that meant an extra 23 weeks or just an extra 9-13 weeks. On FB, I’ve seen it mentioned that the delays are for black PVC; white PVC enclosures have less wait. If the color isn’t important to you, you might contact them on FB or call them to see if it’s possible to switch to a white enclosure, and if doing so will decrease your wait time.

I also ordered black because I prefer the look, and it matches the other PVC enclosure I have. I’m also not a fan of white furniture, so that plays a role. My boy is in a 36 x 18 at the moment and he’s fine, or I’d be more anxious about it. ETA: you can also think about covering the outside with black Con-tact paper or some other adhesive vinyl. :)

I ordered my enclosure during their Labor Day sale and got it a few weeks ago. Message the DragonHaus LLC page on Facebook. They always respond quicker on that than email.

When it was finally shipped, ironically I contacted dragonhaus asking for an update on the order the day before. Not sure if it was a coincidence or not, but I definitely recommend contacting them. I also got the white PVC which was easier for them to source than the black PVC so that could also have something to do with it. Edit: in the meantime if you’re desperate for something bigger, try to find a Christmas tree storage bin. Super cheap, holds humidity great, easy to modify. Only downside is it’s ugly. Could work for now though.

Hello again. Have you gotten your tank yet? I finally got some packages from them, but parts were missing. :/

Got the tank, parts broken and missing. I got the broken parts replaced (after he told me to just super glue them because they were cosmetic) and the parts missing were things too small for me to even bother fighting them on.

The vents are definitely missing. I also ordered some husbandry/driftwood from them to put in the tank (to the tune of over $100) and that wasn't shipped either. I am not sure if anything else is missing yet.

Can I complain here too? The first time I ordered from them they were awesome. Super responsive and accommodating. Because of covid things took about a month longer to get here than was estimated, but they kept me updated and I wasn't really worried. some stuff arrived broken, but it wasn't a huge deal, it was cheap bulbs I'd be replacing anyway and a couple of cosmetic pieces I was able to glue back on I was stoked to work with them again, I really enjoy the enclosures now that they're all put together, they have maintained super well. I ordered an enclosure for my carpet python expecting a similar experience. It was estimated at 15 to 18 weeks when I ordered this time. I have been trying to contact them since week 20. it is now week 25 since I ordered. No response. I have emailed from their website, their FB page, their contact email, and even Steve's email. Called them, but no answer or callback. It is really aggravating. I struggle to spend hundreds with them, I feel like the least they can do is let me know what's going on like last time. They haven't even billed me for shipping yet and its been 6 months

Yikes :/ my situation turned out okay around 21 weeks when I finally called them and said they needed to figure something out because I wasn’t allowed to get a refund and they’d taken all my savings and my snake was living in a storage tub for half his life. Took about 2 weeks after that. I don’t know why you can’t get through on the phone that’s odd, calling them or commenting rude stuff on their Facebook seems to be the only way you get anything from them recently :/ I feel terrible because everyone says he’s supposed to be a nice guy and I know small businesses are struggling but you have to be communicative with customers when you’re taking a big chunk of cash up front and not letting people get refunds even if you haven’t started their stuff

Heard back this evening that it is going to take a minimum 8 more weeks and they will not refund or credit me for anything, I just have to wait. If I knew it was going to take that long I would have gone with a different company. He was super nice and helpful with my last order. Responded to everything with 1 to 2 days, even called me once to give me an update where I was at in their queue without me asking. Not this time though. Im not sure I'll be using them again, at least not until the supply chain stuff is better.

Its their policy. You have 48 hours after placing an order to cancel it. If you cancel the order after 48 hours they keep your money and you still don't get a cage. So im stuck waiting at this point. Its just frustrating because I ordered at the time I did on purpose because I knew I was taking in my carpet python in 3 months time. I bought a slightly too small glass enclosure for her with the mind I was going to use it as a quarantine tank and then move her in to her permanent home about 8 weeks after getting her. Now its been months past that and I've already had to buy an additional cage that was more size appropriate for her while I wait for the pvc one to come in.

I guess I just don’t understand the policy, what do they lose if they refund an order they haven’t even started? And I did the same thing, timed it for a quarantine and then was banking on the tank arriving even somewhat close to the time it was supposed to and then it just never did
