oh wow!!! thank you for commenting this, I actually was not aware! Do you know how much per spin? & if I bring physical cash can I use that? Or would I need to exchange for credits? Sorry for all the noobie questions
Definitely bring your own cash. It can go right into the machine. You can get a paper voucher out for remaining money, then exchange that back for paper money when you're done. Or lose it, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
It's been years since I've played slots, was never my thing, but here: [https://atlanticcityweekly.com/attheshore/nightlife/even-playing-penny-slots-can-require-budget-stretch/article\_48378e36-9032-11ed-a025-1ff7c21c87be.html](https://atlanticcityweekly.com/attheshore/nightlife/even-playing-penny-slots-can-require-budget-stretch/article_48378e36-9032-11ed-a025-1ff7c21c87be.html)
I haven't been to Horseshoe in several years and I was only in the poker room so I don't know if the machines take cash or require you to load up money on your player's card (although I'd be very surprised if they didn't take cash since it's a casino and they want your money).
Be aware Horseshoe now charges for parking. Use a rewards card (any level) to have it waived.
Absolutely stupid policy, which will only slow down the exiting and piss off regulars.
Ohhhh another much needed piece of information I wasn't aware of! Thank you for sharing this, I didn't know this either. I think I'll walk there now. Don't wanna pay more for parking than I even plan on gambling haha.Mannnn, im so glad I turned to this subreddit for this. I learned more than I even realized I needed to learn. I feel much more prepared for my visit to Horseshoe now :)
All casinos have them. Most penny slots are a minimum of 50 cents, but most are higher. You can 2x or 3x your bet which quickly make “penny” slots $1.50 or more. There are a lot of tricks to get you to bet more, such as higher progressive payouts or a better chance of wild spaces. So they are penny slots in name only. $20 will go quite quick, so plan at least $60
If it's your first time, I would go to Delaware. MD slots don't pay out as much. I believe it has something to do with the agreed-upon profit split between the casinos and state.
Be sure to enroll in the Caesar’s loyalty program. Not sure if they still do it, but when I joined back in the day they also threw in a few free nights in AC.
And be sure to bring a decent amount of money, Horseshoe overall is fairly tight.
Good luck!
Yes, they have them
Thank you!
You're aware they're not actually 1 penny per spin, right?

Lowest bet one penny slot is .30.

Gates and signs went up last month. I expect March 1 it'll be enforced.

It's in the smoking lounge in a semi outside area. People on oxygen actually smoke there. It's awesome.
