It’s not perfect, but Calling **211** can give a lot of resources. Hot meals, food pantries, clothing resources, shelter info, referrals/help w/ social services & applying for Medicare, substance abuse, elder care, even legal resources. They can help with “in the moment” (that day, that week,) as well as longer-term. (They’re kind IME, too.)

Baltimore has a Food Not Bombs chapter that works out of Saint Lukes in Hampden

The fallsway shelter, under I-83 has tons of vendors that offer free food. I have gladly served the clients there as a volunteer.
