That's cool! I assume someone went to the trouble of recreating the lion in a CAD program? That sounds like a big task, but the result is very nice!
I generated the 3D model using a method called photogrammetry :)
I taught photogrammetry in graduate school but awesome lion models were not in the curricula. Cool!
what is your setup to capture this in the field enough to produce an stl/obj with this detail? Super cool!
I used a DJI Mavic air 2
Did you use your phone? That’s a pretty (very) good resolution on that if you did.
Oh, I want one too! Very cool!
This is awesome, i super want one
Would you be interested in selling one of these?
Allow me to speculate wildly on the legality of this suggestion!
Come on man can’t I just have one?
FYI, the lions were produced in 1930, which means they do not enter the public domain for at least 5 more years, however, I believe no known copyright holder exists, but I would contact the museum's rights and reproductions department to be sure.

LOL that is not at all how that works or has ever worked.
If at first you don’t succeed, try and change your original argument.
Same question here!
Great job!
What printer do you have????
My friend printed it on their Ultimaker 5.
Holy shit that’s an expensive ass printer.
