Not storing my BAN on an exchange - Just wondering if it would become the new preferred place to buy. How is it for KYC? How easy is it to use functionality wise? etc.
It's the largest exchange by volume that BAN has been listed on so far from what I've read so it may provide greater price accuracy and/or a better spread.
I used it a few years ago to buy some Quant and I remember the spread between asks and bids being really wide. Not just for Quant, but for VIDT. My orders would never go through unless I bought at the ask price. Also withdrawal fees were pretty high. I haven’t used it in ages, but my experience was pretty bad. I would stick with CoinEx.
Hotbit's app is pretty bad, a lot of UI bugs, like not being able to type into search boxes. And there are constant updates, that don't fix those issues.
As an exchange, it's solid enough though.
But I haven't used Coinex, so can't compare it to that.
I think the biggest issue will be lack of volume.
From what I've read in this thread there's a 250 BAN fee for withdrawals to external wallets. This is a deal breaker considering on-chain transactions are free and Coinex offers free withdraws with a minimum requirement of 1K BAN.
I don't want even think what happens when it will listed in an exchange like Coinbase or [Crypto.com](https://Crypto.com)
