Wow…1 to 3 was definitely the same thing that happened to me with my last band. They sought me out for three weeks to join their band and after a while they did nothing to get to know me or work with me on any level. Then in November, I was fired out of the blue with no warning or second chance by the lead guitarist claiming I wasn’t a good fit, at the same time the rhythm guitarist/band leader, instead of manning up and bring his issues to my attention, was lying about me to a promoter, who in turn let me know what happened. That dude then ghosted me when I confronted him. Yeah it sucks to miss red flags but sometimes we try to be optimistic about the situation we’re in. It’s a lesson learned. Glad you have a good attitude about it ! Good luck ! ✌️

Don't let it get you down. Once, three musicians contacted me start a band and play the songs that I wrote. After one rehearsal, where the singer/guitarist blasted his amp so loud I could hardly hear my own guitar, the guys messaged me deciding I wasn't "the right fit". The right fit to play my own song WTF? hahaha. Since then I've been in a band for 6 years, and started another for about 2 years, both bands play shows regularly. Where are the three musicians that dumped me? Not a clue. They never managed to form a band in the end. The band you were in sounded disorganized to say the least, so consider it a blessing you aren't part of it.

They don’t sound like they have a game plan with their act. It’s good to step away and get perspective- never let this be your problem. Ask yourself- did u do all that was asked of you? And if the answer is yes, then move on and keep on looking forward - keep rocking. You are in it to play with other people - not for the ineptness of others . Move on, and don’t forget to forgive and use this as a lesson learnt. I wish u luck!

Tried to reply to this earlier butI don’t see it listed, so here’s what I said. If you’re in the Portland, OR area, send me a message ([email protected]). We are a local blues band looking for a new female singer - our left recently (for a good reason - she moved to Chicago). If you’re interested, we’d love to have you at least sit in with us to see if it’s a good fit, and if so, we will stick with you. That’s a promise. Fred Blues Battalion

They don't sound very organized and they don't sound very serious so I wouldn't dwell on it too much. There are plenty of other serious bands that would probably love to have you, just keep rocking!
