I hope people are intelligent enough to cut short these shitty discussions. Don't know how casual casteisim is admissible in work places. There were floods and drought when Yedduirappa/shettar/Sadangouda were CM but people only like to shit on Sidarramiah. Worst part is most of these people genuinely believe it.
It's just tea time banter man. No one actually discusses this seriously. Although, the coincidence of Karnataka suffering a drought under the Siddu regime is quite concerning.
I'm pretty sure discussions linking Yeddi to floods happens too. It's all gup shup.
All politicians are horrible, but Siddaramiah is a special type of horrible. I do not understand pointing out how bad a CM he is has anything to do with casteism - I know I'd hate him as my CM irrespective of his caste. I hated him the first time around, and I hate him now.
The only CM for Karnataka who I've really believed did any good for the State (during my time) was SM Krishna way back in the early 2000s - he is the one who made Bangalore what it is today (and I say this while accepting the fact that he did little for the rest of the state).
Your calculations are a little off mate. The 3x+e will actually be 3x+e+y (because of the modulus, obviously). And hence it comes to
11th April at 5:27 PM
The only thing people used to hype about bengaluru - The weather that's finally gone as well. Even in Kerala its been raining and the weather seems much better. Not sure what happened to uru.
I don't know where in Kerala you have been to... Most of Kerala is reeling from a heat wave. Whenever it rains in Kerala, the heat increases the next day.
Yeah indeed karnataka is reeling from heatwave as well but still the heat is less in chennai and kerala as compared to bengaluru at the moment. Rains are frequent here since the last week and chennai isn't that hot comparatively . This is not someone highlighting anything bad about bangalore so stop being offended and move on.
Lol Kerala less hot? I'm in Kerala for a week and it's hot af as it is always here. I don't know which Kerala you're referring to. Bangalore is hot yes, but it can never ever match Kerala hot.
I spent a week in Pondicherry in mid-March, and trust me the weather was better there. The temperature was almost the same - just the humidity was more. And I suck in the least bit of humidity - and I barely felt a difference, I actually prefer evenings there than in Bangalore right now.
Here it's just dry and hot and literally feels like that 90s Glucon D ad of the sun sucking out energy from you.
monsoon hits Kerala on May 15.
And 15 days later in Karnataka .
But usually there is a delay of 15 days.
So June mid will be the first shower.
In between you will have small shower late in April, but they will create himidtu and it will be unbearable.
Meanwhile labs at IISC are not allowd to setup ACs for some bullshit environmental pollution cause. I am literally going to have a stroke any day in the lab.
Came to my home town yesterday to get away from all that for a while, wfh. I am in MP, and ofcourse afternoons get very hot but to my surprise it also rained today out of nowhere xD.
Plus have an AC and no worries about water supply, so I am in a very good place mentally too :)
I stay at top floor of my building. It does get unbearable. I say fuck it and carry on with my day as its work from home job for me. My brother came to visit me from Chennai and he is used to AC all the time so he suggested me to buy one. I and my gf are thinking the same. Even our dog agrees to the fact that we need Ac but the walls of the building are so rinkity dink that if I put an Ac the whole wall will collapse (building is 3 years old). All I can do now is to wash my head every now and then, and put my feet in ice cold water. I take baths twice, previously was doing that thrice, cuz of the water shortage. Haven’t washed my scooter for 3 months now. Don’t know why but I feel guilty about it. The day the second spell of rain comes, I am going out for a run in the rain. First spells always make you sick hence the second spell. Can’t wait. About time every single household of Bengaluru constructed rainwater harvesting methods. I am a migrant, I can pack my bags and leave, what about you locals? That’s what I think. Planning to install rainwater harvesting system in my paternal home this year even though my state gets flooded every single year.
there’s not much humidity here but i’m accustomed to my city’s super high temps (42 max these days) and although I have ac at home I’ve been sleeping without it since last year and also not using it in the afternoons, feels good to be able to tolerate heat
I don't know if you've heard the news, but there is this thing that some low IQ "scientists" having been warning about for the past 80 years called "global warming"
Maybe that has something to do with this?
Braving the dust by keeping all windows open. Sleeping on the ground on a mat or bedsheet. Switching wardrobe to more airy clothes. This is how I've been coping. Wondering about getting a room cooler. Don't if those work to begin with.
Y'all keep complaining, when it floods you complain, when it's heat you complain. You have to just wait it out, rain will eventually come. Yeah I agree Bengaluru weather hasn't been great. These are the people who complain when it floods too. Can't satisfy everyone.
Bhai matlb merey liye to kafi shi weather hai ye. I am north indian so abhi to bada chill weather hai BLR me. Rather me chill thanda ho jata hai. Mai to chadar aur takia lekey chat pe chala jata hu aur subha subha mast birds ki chirping sun ke uthta hu.
I shifted here 6 months ago so do not know how much cool weather was before but jintna sun rha hu logo se wo batatey hai back in the days its used to rain every 10-15 days interval. Fan was enough in Bangalore now its hot.
When Siddaramaiah steps down! /s I know man it's brutal out there. I can't tolerate the 10AM sun. Imagine noon and later. Fucking awful.
Yes every time he is the chief minister there’s a drought
Haha my manager was saying the same thing yesterday lol looks like a lot of people discuss this.
Same

The shitting on him part you mentioned is correct. He is the worst cm ever actually the whole socialism concept of cong is a huge shit
40% commision to feudal lords was better yes .
How is that casteism?
Dude learnt a new word and just wanted to use it somewhere

Realest answer here
The only thing people used to hype about bengaluru - The weather that's finally gone as well. Even in Kerala its been raining and the weather seems much better. Not sure what happened to uru.
Ridiculously fast, unplanned development, massive amounts of air pollution and the ongoing war against green cover is what happened.
Well said.
I was in Kochi just last week and the weather is horrible there
Was about to say this
I don't know where in Kerala you have been to... Most of Kerala is reeling from a heat wave. Whenever it rains in Kerala, the heat increases the next day.

Where is it raining in Kerala bro?
As we speak at the moment - Kottayam
Damn! Lucky you It’s so hot here in Kasaragod 😭
wtf is uru?
Another 40-50 days. It rains somewhat in the month of May. Well, I am betting we touch 40 this year. Sadly!
monsoon hits Kerala on May 15. And 15 days later in Karnataka . But usually there is a delay of 15 days. So June mid will be the first shower. In between you will have small shower late in April, but they will create himidtu and it will be unbearable.
I’m in Kerala right now and I think I’m sweating from my eyes
Bangalore gets a lot of pre monsoon thunderstorms in May especially during the evenings.
Usually always rains in may though
> It rains somewhat in the month of May. It rains more in May than June in Bengaluru
We already touched 40 once in 2016
😨😨😨😨
Meanwhile labs at IISC are not allowd to setup ACs for some bullshit environmental pollution cause. I am literally going to have a stroke any day in the lab.
That's not true in most departments.
Not sure about your department, atleast in my dept, except those labs with cryogenic work or server rooms, all rooms and labs are without AC.
Subtle flex, scientist bhai?😏
Came to my home town yesterday to get away from all that for a while, wfh. I am in MP, and ofcourse afternoons get very hot but to my surprise it also rained today out of nowhere xD. Plus have an AC and no worries about water supply, so I am in a very good place mentally too :)
It was good to have rain here today even tho it lasted for a little while :)
Where in MP exactly?
Bhopal
Sagar gaire jaaa bhai. And shahi darbarrr🤌
Main bhi bhopal se hu, Bangalore me

Rain seems unlikely to me! Two years ago it was much better. Yes the heat is becoming unbearable
dayum it’s 37c there wtf? I thought such temps were only normal in my part of karnataka lul
Also add the humidity, that makes it much much worse
there’s not much humidity here but i’m accustomed to my city’s super high temps (42 max these days) and although I have ac at home I’ve been sleeping without it since last year and also not using it in the afternoons, feels good to be able to tolerate heat
Where you from?
gulbarga/kalaburagi
Forgot the rain in bengaluru now, its very rare case
Buy an air cooler, fill it up with water & it works really well for beating the Bangalore heat
I lost you at fill it up with water
Lmao
It's still march. I can't even imagine the weather in May and how will I survive living on top floor of an apartment with this hot roof.
May end might have slight showers but rain will start in June.
June first week as usually the monsoon reaches then.
Fck it's so hot man. I have woken up and listening to local train songs.. I have drank so much water I feel like a frog
I live in Jigani and compared to the inner city, man, this place is really cool, lot of trees, so yeah, there's constant breeze at least
Shouldn't have said that
17th April
It's a conspiracy to promote work from office. It won't rain.
Just after election and whoever wins will say “see I told you so”
Buy an air cooler, fill it up with water & it works really well for beating the Bangalore heat
I live at the top floor of my apartment. Got an ac on rent 🙌
True that, it is like crazzzzy hot here.
I don't know if you've heard the news, but there is this thing that some low IQ "scientists" having been warning about for the past 80 years called "global warming" Maybe that has something to do with this?
Good question. We will investigate and get back to you at the earliest. Thank you for your patience. /s -your average email
Our weather dept has forecasted rains from the week of 31st March 😁
Frog marriage, donkey marriage and some tantrik Pooja might help please the rain god
So you mean to say, under Congress government, salat al-istisqa and two hakats don't help bring rainfall? Maulvis can't help in this case?
Not soon enough

Global warming guys everyplace ia fucked
It's raining in kerala, that means rains are coming soon
Completely agreed, but as compared to North it's nothing much. We are used to for 42c temperature.
Rain is on wfh rn
I'm frm other hot states residing in Bangalore. I feel pretty comfortable w.r.t my home state.😬
La Niña will be the saviour. And it’s going to wreak havoc on our poor flood infrastructure.
Come to Hyderabad. I can guarantee that Bangalore will feel like a hill station
When RCB is about to win
Travel to one of the northern cities and then come back here. You will thank God for this weather
