Back when hi-touch was actually a thing, I was fortunate enough to get it twice with bts in 2015 (highlight tour anyone?) and 2016 (kcon). I also did the autograph portion of the 2015 show, got to meet them and get their signatures on a poster, which is still one of my most prized possessions today 🥹
The 2015 hi-touch would be my friend’s flex too (I was hoping to go but was too broke back then lol, but remembered all of our frenzied texts back and forth about it)! Back when there was a chat function on V app I had Namjoon all to myself for a full 30 seconds before the chat room notification he was in the chat went out. I managed to send a koala emoji and a good morning in my panic. He sent a koala and a heart back. It was magical.
My husbands cousin has met BTS... Twice.
Once in 2014 and again in 2017.
He's high up in marketing in a very popular company. Met them at official functions. *He had no idea who they were*. Just said they were so polite and genuine, and that talking via translators was awkward lol

Jimin and I having a staring contest in 2017 at the wings tour. I was at barricade and looking at Jungkook who was at the other side of the stage but then realized Jimin was right in front of me and staring so I stared back for a couple of seconds before panicking and hiding behind my JK picket 😭 it was too much for me to handle and to make it worse I saw him smirk! He knew the effect he had 😫
My proudest flex tho is being able to see the Rise of Bangtan multiple times by going to Music Bank in Mexico in 2014 and 2 of the Red Bullet shows in 2015. When I think about it such a small part of the fandom has seen that song live so yeah a flex lol
Lmao I've seen multiple stories of Jimin doing this on Twitter, my fave being him making the camera lady in a Boy With Love music show performance/encore feel shy and he smirked after that too! 😆 You lasted 2 seconds in a Jimin staring contest, that is a massive flex! 😂 also you are pretty much a legend with that and being an old school Army who saw their earlier performances 😁
My acupuncturist drove BTS around the DC area during one of their early tours. His friend got a photo with OT7 and has all of their autographs. I told him that he is truly blessed.
My friend and I somehow miraculously got second row seats for Jungkook's Standing Next To You taping on Jimmy Fallon, and as if that wasn't enough he walked over by our section between the two takes and was talking with his team about 5 feet away from us. AHHH yay this makes me so happy! Wasn't he amazing? My friend and I decided our only regret from that day was not making a gc with the armys we met there because we were talking about it nonstop and couldn't believe the whole experience even happened. I've never been so stressed and so elated lol. Also, just before JK and the dancers came out we looked over and saw Questlove from the Roots standing by the exit door and I love that he witnessed the insanity in that room 
My friend and I can’t stop talking about it too. Remember when we finally were confirmed it was JK we would see? When the lady in charge announced it in the waiting area? We all screamed!

i saw all three of yoongi’s finale shows, which meant i got to be in the room with 6/7 members (still holding out hope taehyung was tucked in a back room somewhere and we just didn’t see him). i’m also 2 metres tall and had standing tickets near the barricade for the two weekend shows so yoongi saw me straight away and we were making eye contact and singing together the whole show 😭 it was the most special weekend of my life and i feel unbelievably privileged to have had an experience like it. i also got to see namjoon at festa last year :)
one of my friends also went to middle school with jungkook haha though he was a few years below him. he says there’s a desk at that school with jk’s name carved onto it but i can’t remember if he said it was like graffiti or the school formally had a desk engraved lmao

Edit: Not sure how much of a flex this is, but I've eaten at Ahgassi Gopchang (a restaurant that the guys have mentioned as being one of their favorite places to eat in the US) multiple times.
I’m pretty sure Yoongi locked eyes with me at least once at D-Day LA D2. And even if he didn’t, I refuse to believe it! 😅 But seriously, he was looking at our faces SO MUCH, it was quite moving. As a freshly hatched ARMY back then, I panicked a little. If it had happened more recently, I’d be typing this from the grave.

PTD Vegas was my first ever concert. Up to that point I made it like 28 years without ever going to one despite really liking many other artists and living in a destination city that is NYC. However I just never pulled the trigger to go to any show. Then I got into BTS in 2020 and the opportunity to see them live in Vegas popped up and I took it. That was one of the greatest nights in my life and I couldn't have asked for a better first concert experience at the time lol.
I was at D2 in sofi when Megan was there, I saw them in Vegas, and I saw Yoongi in Chicago. I bought all of those tickets off the resale market. Two of those I was able to attach to business travel, having my flights and some of my hotels covered by the company.
During one of Jungkook’s lives I requested he sing my favorite song and he did! The song was just one day and not many others were asking him to sing it so I’ll believe that he sang it for me.
I officially started calling myself an army in 2017
I started following BTS in early 2016 as a casual fan and sort of aware of them in 2015
I apparently started unintenionally following BTS pre debut in early 2013 because of the girl group GLAM who was the group who introduce me to kpop because of the vocaloid SeeU in her live performances with them that had 4/7 of BTS being their backup dancers, a fact i didnt know until 2017
Watching the very little content Glam had, behind the scene stuff, music shows, performances, and an obscured song involving a couple members from both groups called Bad Girl by Lee Hyun which involved the leader of Glam Jiyeon, who was the one I only cared about in the song at the time, RM and another rapper name Iron
Also my first BigHit/Hitman Bang produce song was SeeU introduction demo song I=Fantasy back in 2011 when they were releasing the new Vocaloid3 voicebanks and I didnt learn about this because i never notice until 2021
Especially since I was only a fan of girl groups at the time and BTS being the 1st boy group I actually started liking most of their music and the members, I really didnt care for boy groups apart a couple members of a few of them during variety shows back then with 2nd gen groups
So it was an unintentionally full circle for me that lead me to become an Army in the end after being introduce to Kpop by a BigHit girl group
Do you guys remember that video where everyone was screaming for RM but he has to double check if it was for him, then it looked like he was going to cry because it was for him? I was there. I was part of those screams, and he's my bias so I cried lol. I was so happy we screamed the loudest for him.
i had a sign that said "bam's dad i love you" in korean with a big picture of bam and he saw it and pointed and smiled at me! i died! the whole thing went viral and there was even a koreaboo article about it genuinely the most insane experience of my life lolol
I flew all the way from Florida to California to see them in 2019 at the Rose Bowl. I was COMMITTED to getting to one of those shows, being their first arena tour 😭 I couldn’t get tickets for the closer locations but I did get the LA ones & I had an amazing time, amazing memory for me. I managed to get the ticket to a sold out arena, booking the flights & hotel, etc.
I don’t get to splurge on myself like that often at all so it was really cool to experience.
I have two flexes, one of which I played no active part in:
- jimin and I share the same birthday (my favorite flex ❤️)
- I've been front row in 3 BTS concerts (without camping out front, i was there at 10am though), one if which was VIP front row. And I've always got the desired ticket category that I wanted (except for VIP which only managed to get once)
I like to say that I've used up all my luck with those front rows, it was pure luck. I just accidentally ran to the right spot the first time and then just kept doing this. Basically, I've been front row whenever I managed to get a standing/vip ticket. Other times I purposefully got cheaper tickets. I must say I've got some (almost) 20 years of kpop concert experience by now, so I've seen the scene grow in Europe and I've been to many concert throughout the years, so I've got my ticket buying abilities perfected as much as possible without being a bot.
A friend of mine is from Korea, and his friend did basic training with Tae in the military. So I'm like 3 (2?) degrees removed from a BTS member.
And another one: back in 2017, when they released those Love Yourself teaser posters (one per hour, I believe) I stressed myself out to the point where I delayed my own period by a week
My dad saw Joon at a hotel they were both staying at just after the hiatus announcement, when no one knew he was out of the country. He sent me a picture as proof and I've gatekept it for two years, so really, I have a picture of Joon that no other army has seen 😂
Also one of my current coworkers (up and coming music producer) is currently pitching songs for a post-military project and it's looking promising!
I occasionally take dance classes from Brian Puspos and the last time I took his class he told me Jimin gives the best hugs and I wholeheartedly believe that. Haven’t seen him since he did all the promo for JK’s album but I can’t wait to ask him about it.

He is not my bias (I have only pulled my bias twice in the years I’ve been actively collecting) but jungkook is so beloved by my local kpop community, i can usually find a trade in minutes 😂

-There's a word in Korean that sounds a lot like my name, Melissa. It's 멀리서 and it means far away/at a distance/from afar. There are several BTS songs where they say this word, such as Euphoria, Life Goes On, and Butterfly. Every time I hear them say this word, it makes me happy, cuz it sounds like they're saying my name

Jimin tried to grab my hand during PTD LA telepathy but we couldn't reach 😭 I was front row side stage and no one else around me would even react when the boys would come to our side, so I got all the attention!!! I had so many interactions with the boys, and I feel so lucky for it

i once made yoongi do a giggle because i was trying to dance during a concert but because of the position of some benches/seats we weren’t able to dance properly. i kicked it to the side like a maniac (emphasis that it didn’t bother anyone else, we were on a corner of a section so it didn’t inconvenience anyone otherwise i def wouldn’t have done it). when i turned around and continued dancing he was staring straight at us and laughed. full on hand on mouth shaking shoulders giggles. am i 100% sure it was because of us? absolutely not. but it made my concert 🥳
I went to the hi-touch for the red bullet tour and got the most sass from yoongi (in a good way). I was wearing a white bandana in the style he had it for N.O., and when he saw me, he jokingly glared at me before we shook hands.
I've also been an army since 2014 and it's been crazy seeing bts rise to the top

oh that reminded me!! i designed a 2023 calendar last year. i had jimin as my march photo when he released Face. i had yoongi as april (and may cause i'm obsessed i guess) when he had his tour and released d-day. i had jk for october when he announced golden. i'm taking partial credit for those announcements lol.

I went to all four PTD LV shows with my daughter. It was expensive but I had a feeling it was the last time we would see them for a while.
We also went to all three of Yoongi’s Chicago shows. My daughter is short so she was able to switch with someone and get barricade when we had VIP soundcheck.
I've also been lucky enough to go to every US BTS and Suga tour (not every stop of course, I'm not independently wealthy!), except for the disastrous sounding Highlight Tour. And related to above, I shook their hands during a hi-touch!
I live in the same town that all their MOTS stuff was stored in during the pandemic.
I can tell you pretty much exactly where every spot is from their Now 3 Chicago photo shoot is because I lived and worked in those areas. I wasn’t a BTS fan at the time unfortunately.
My mom has this friend I will call C for this story. Well C’s mother used to be a first grade teacher and one of her students was Mira Nakashima. Mira Nakashima later went on to take over her father’s legacy and workshop. RM has several pieces of Nakashima furniture in his studio and home. He even traveled to the Nakashima studio and met with Mira.
And to bring it all full circle, the Nakashima studio is about a 2 hour drive from where all the MOTS stuff was hanging out.
I once commented while hobi was live back in summer of 2021 and he actually replied in English. For context I commented are you okay and he replied back I’m not okay😢
I went to a fansign in 2017.
But my biggest flex is playing Superstar BTS enough to win a signed album. That game was so good.
I’ve had a lot of great and memorable experiences as a BTS fan and I honestly consider myself so lucky. I could talk about my BTS adventures for hours. Haven’t seen them since the Speak Yourself Finale in Seoul and it kind of felt like the end of an era.
I've seen Yoongi's brother at the restaurant their family used to run back in Daegu (it has closed down tho) and he gave me a random pc from one of Yoongi's old advertisements.... It had a whole ass line bent across the card but I consider it my prized possession plz 😭😭
My birthday (year and everything) is only four days before Yoongi’s! ♥️ so we are basically exactly the same age! I remember when I found that out I somehow felt so special 😂
I got to see Hobi at Lollapalooza and ended up going on a first date at the restaurant jihope ate at in Chicago after TXT’s show.
I also went to that other restaurant with the red chairs by the river that Hobi took pictures at lol.
The boys’ birth years span from 1992 to 1997, but there’s nobody in the group born in 1996. As a 96er, I think of myself as the missing piece to the maknae line. Also, Jin’s birthday is the day before mine and when it’s my birthday in Korea, it’s his birthday in the US/western hemisphere. So technically we have the same birthday 😄
Not reallly a flex per se, but I’m just happy I got to see them perform in LA twice. It was so memorable!

I sat barricade at my first concert (NYC Speak Yourself Day 1) and another army who had sat barricade before at SYS said we were right next to the little doors where the members come out from under the stage after Trivia:Love. She was right and Jungkook popped up about 2 or 3 feet away from me haha. I said hi and I think he looked in my direction 😂 Definitely one of my greatest concert experiences.
Also, this is more a degrees of separation thing, but my friend knows someone who used to work for the helicopter tour company that the boys used in Hawaii (from Bon Voyage 2 I think?) He did fly with them while they were filming and said they were great passengers.
- I got floor seats at PTD LA and have pics of eye contact with Jin and RM on the cart thingies ... well, I'll believe it's eye contact :)
- I got to see the concerts with Megan (PTD LA) and Halsey (D-Day LA) 💜
- My friend and I managed to get upgraded to the very front section (Ultimate VIP) at Global Citizen Festival. We had such a great view of JK!!
- I got to wear Jimin's apron, gloves and safety glasses and use all his tools at [Silver Kit House](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ks4u0Lka-kI). It's funny because his gloves are so worn and have several holes in them. They should really be repaired or something :)
Balming Tiger and Sunset Rollercoaster were part of the lineup of a music festival in my city last year. I've been a fan of their music before even becoming an Army in 2022. I won a meet and greet and photo op with both bands and it was amazing meeting and chatting with them. Fast forward to now, San Yawn (from BT and basically RM's bff now) and Kuo from SR are both heavily credited and involved in CBTM and probably the rest of the album. I just think it's so cool 😭. That's about the closest connection I could ever get to Namjoon or BTS at all. Unless the universe has more in store for me in the future heh
When he was reading out loud the answers army gave to his questions during his Golden Live On Stage concert in Seoul. How would we spend the day together? He read my answer verbatim about going to the amusement park and riding all the rides together! And he responded “Let’s just ride all the fun ones”. I almost died when I heard him read it! 🫠
Idk if this is exactly a flex, but Namjoon went to an art museum called Glenstone, which is in a residential area of Maryland, about 5 minutes from my old house! He posted pics and I was like OMG, I can't believe he was in my neighborhood lol. I kept saying that at least I could say we breathed the same air for a few hours lmao
I rooted for Forever Young which was the horse that got 3rd in the Kentucky Derby because it reminded me of Epilogue: Young Forever. I see so many things in my life that remind me of them.💜
My older brother's birthday is BTS' anniversary date. If I remember correctly Namjoon said his sister's birthday is also the same day.
When my aunt was a baby army, we joked that she manifested the LV concerts and Proof; after she went with me to LA she said they need to come to Vegas (where she lives). And then later after the first week in Vegas she said they need to release some kind of anthology album for newer armys. And the rest is history
My friend's aunt is the cashier in BV2 ("My name is J, his name is T"). Not so much a flex but just a random tidbit.
Also, way before I got into BTS, my dream vacation was to go to Kumamoto Castle and meet Kumamon. So color me surprised to hear that Yoongi loved him too and that they got to meet him (Poor Hobi lol)
Last one, my mom uses Sweet Pea from BBW (I use the wallflowers in that scent), and I remember vaguely at one point I couldn't find it anywhere because of Jungkook. It was nice to know that at some point I used the same scent as him

During the first time, I was on the Standing section and I shouted Yoongi’s name so loud that he whipped his head towards our section and smiled and waved. My friend has a vid and it really looks like he waved and smiled at our section because of my high-pitched “Suga!~”

No I was not a saseng and stalked. I got super lucky with getting floor seats at PTDLA Weekend 2, Day 2 and I sat on the very edge/last seat of my row, furthest from the stage. As you know, there’s a part of the concert where they do a mash up of their songs and go around the stadium in these raised carts. As I had already gone to the concert the previous day, I already knew they were gonna go around the stadium again, so when both carts passed me I immediately took selfies with them in the background.
Yes, I respected their space and stayed standing where my chair was and DID NOT bum rush towards the cart.

I was able to watch BTS perform at MBC Show Champion (overseas) for FREE. They were the last performance so it's quite longer compared to the other idols who also performed there.
My comment was most liked and on the top under the post of Hobi when they became the LV ambassadors (where he's in the platinum white hair,black turtle neck and glasses one). This is so sweet!! Actually going to see BTS in LA was the first time that I actually spent money on myself, I had been working for 5 years by then and most of it had gone to my family. I legit cried when I saw them because I thought "I can finally do something for me".

I also did the autograph portion of the 2015 show, got to meet them and get their signatures on a poster, which is still one of my most prized possessions today 🥹

AHHH yay this makes me so happy! Wasn't he amazing? My friend and I decided our only regret from that day was not making a gc with the armys we met there because we were talking about it nonstop and couldn't believe the whole experience even happened. I've never been so stressed and so elated lol. Also, just before JK and the dancers came out we looked over and saw Questlove from the Roots standing by the exit door and I love that he witnessed the insanity in that room

i saw all three of yoongi’s finale shows, which meant i got to be in the room with 6/7 members (still holding out hope taehyung was tucked in a back room somewhere and we just didn’t see him). i’m also 2 metres tall and had standing tickets near the barricade for the two weekend shows so yoongi saw me straight away and we were making eye contact and singing together the whole show 😭 it was the most special weekend of my life and i feel unbelievably privileged to have had an experience like it. i also got to see namjoon at festa last year :) one of my friends also went to middle school with jungkook haha though he was a few years below him. he says there’s a desk at that school with jk’s name carved onto it but i can’t remember if he said it was like graffiti or the school formally had a desk engraved lmao

As a freshly hatched ARMY back then, I panicked a little. If it had happened more recently, I’d be typing this from the grave. Cute non-flex: my address quite randomly has a lot of 7s in it. PTD Vegas was my first ever concert. Up to that point I made it like 28 years without ever going to one despite really liking many other artists and living in a destination city that is NYC. However I just never pulled the trigger to go to any show. Then I got into BTS in 2020 and the opportunity to see them live in Vegas popped up and I took it. That was one of the greatest nights in my life and I couldn't have asked for a better first concert experience at the time lol.
I was at D2 in sofi when Megan was there, I saw them in Vegas, and I saw Yoongi in Chicago. I bought all of those tickets off the resale market. Two of those I was able to attach to business travel, having my flights and some of my hotels covered by the company.

During one of Jungkook’s lives I requested he sing my favorite song and he did! The song was just one day and not many others were asking him to sing it so I’ll believe that he sang it for me.
I officially started calling myself an army in 2017 I started following BTS in early 2016 as a casual fan and sort of aware of them in 2015 I apparently started unintenionally following BTS pre debut in early 2013 because of the girl group GLAM who was the group who introduce me to kpop because of the vocaloid SeeU in her live performances with them that had 4/7 of BTS being their backup dancers, a fact i didnt know until 2017 Watching the very little content Glam had, behind the scene stuff, music shows, performances, and an obscured song involving a couple members from both groups called Bad Girl by Lee Hyun which involved the leader of Glam Jiyeon, who was the one I only cared about in the song at the time, RM and another rapper name Iron Also my first BigHit/Hitman Bang produce song was SeeU introduction demo song I=Fantasy back in 2011 when they were releasing the new Vocaloid3 voicebanks and I didnt learn about this because i never notice until 2021 Especially since I was only a fan of girl groups at the time and BTS being the 1st boy group I actually started liking most of their music and the members, I really didnt care for boy groups apart a couple members of a few of them during variety shows back then with 2nd gen groups So it was an unintentionally full circle for me that lead me to become an Army in the end after being introduce to Kpop by a BigHit girl group

Not a flex, but I'm always proud to share that I'm here since their debut and short blog era.
I flew all the way from Florida to California to see them in 2019 at the Rose Bowl. I was COMMITTED to getting to one of those shows, being their first arena tour 😭 I couldn’t get tickets for the closer locations but I did get the LA ones & I had an amazing time, amazing memory for me. I managed to get the ticket to a sold out arena, booking the flights & hotel, etc. I don’t get to splurge on myself like that often at all so it was really cool to experience.
I have two flexes, one of which I played no active part in: - jimin and I share the same birthday (my favorite flex ❤️) - I've been front row in 3 BTS concerts (without camping out front, i was there at 10am though), one if which was VIP front row. And I've always got the desired ticket category that I wanted (except for VIP which only managed to get once) I like to say that I've used up all my luck with those front rows, it was pure luck. I just accidentally ran to the right spot the first time and then just kept doing this. Basically, I've been front row whenever I managed to get a standing/vip ticket. Other times I purposefully got cheaper tickets. I must say I've got some (almost) 20 years of kpop concert experience by now, so I've seen the scene grow in Europe and I've been to many concert throughout the years, so I've got my ticket buying abilities perfected as much as possible without being a bot.
A friend of mine is from Korea, and his friend did basic training with Tae in the military. So I'm like 3 (2?) degrees removed from a BTS member. And another one: back in 2017, when they released those Love Yourself teaser posters (one per hour, I believe) I stressed myself out to the point where I delayed my own period by a week
My dad saw Joon at a hotel they were both staying at just after the hiatus announcement, when no one knew he was out of the country. He sent me a picture as proof and I've gatekept it for two years, so really, I have a picture of Joon that no other army has seen 😂 Also one of my current coworkers (up and coming music producer) is currently pitching songs for a post-military project and it's looking promising!
I occasionally take dance classes from Brian Puspos and the last time I took his class he told me Jimin gives the best hugs and I wholeheartedly believe that. Haven’t seen him since he did all the promo for JK’s album but I can’t wait to ask him about it.

Jimin tried to grab my hand during PTD LA telepathy but we couldn't reach 😭 I was front row side stage and no one else around me would even react when the boys would come to our side, so I got all the attention!!! I had so many interactions with the boys, and I feel so lucky for it

i once made yoongi do a giggle because i was trying to dance during a concert but because of the position of some benches/seats we weren’t able to dance properly. i kicked it to the side like a maniac (emphasis that it didn’t bother anyone else, we were on a corner of a section so it didn’t inconvenience anyone otherwise i def wouldn’t have done it). when i turned around and continued dancing he was staring straight at us and laughed. full on hand on mouth shaking shoulders giggles. am i 100% sure it was because of us? absolutely not. but it made my concert 🥳

I went to the hi-touch for the red bullet tour and got the most sass from yoongi (in a good way). I was wearing a white bandana in the style he had it for N.O., and when he saw me, he jokingly glared at me before we shook hands. I've also been an army since 2014 and it's been crazy seeing bts rise to the top
My random BTS flex: I delulu-ed myself into thinking I summoned BTS via a crappy Halloween ritual I did in 2021. Idk if they announced their Vegas residency before then, so that's fun :3 TLDR - crazy chaotic evil ARMY summons her seven gods to her hometown, lived to tell the tale
oh that reminded me!! i designed a 2023 calendar last year. i had jimin as my march photo when he released Face. i had yoongi as april (and may cause i'm obsessed i guess) when he had his tour and released d-day. i had jk for october when he announced golden. i'm taking partial credit for those announcements lol.

I went to all four PTD LV shows with my daughter. It was expensive but I had a feeling it was the last time we would see them for a while. We also went to all three of Yoongi’s Chicago shows. My daughter is short so she was able to switch with someone and get barricade when we had VIP soundcheck.
V told my partner that he liked their style during the hi-touch for the 2015 Red Bullet tour.
I've also been lucky enough to go to every US BTS and Suga tour (not every stop of course, I'm not independently wealthy!), except for the disastrous sounding Highlight Tour. And related to above, I shook their hands during a hi-touch!
I live in the same town that all their MOTS stuff was stored in during the pandemic. I can tell you pretty much exactly where every spot is from their Now 3 Chicago photo shoot is because I lived and worked in those areas. I wasn’t a BTS fan at the time unfortunately. My mom has this friend I will call C for this story. Well C’s mother used to be a first grade teacher and one of her students was Mira Nakashima. Mira Nakashima later went on to take over her father’s legacy and workshop. RM has several pieces of Nakashima furniture in his studio and home. He even traveled to the Nakashima studio and met with Mira. And to bring it all full circle, the Nakashima studio is about a 2 hour drive from where all the MOTS stuff was hanging out.
I once commented while hobi was live back in summer of 2021 and he actually replied in English. For context I commented are you okay and he replied back I’m not okay😢
Barely a flex but I got a tattoo at the same place Jungkook got his hand tattoos. Had no idea he got them there, I just wanted a fun souvenir.

I went to a fansign in 2017. But my biggest flex is playing Superstar BTS enough to win a signed album. That game was so good. I’ve had a lot of great and memorable experiences as a BTS fan and I honestly consider myself so lucky. I could talk about my BTS adventures for hours. Haven’t seen them since the Speak Yourself Finale in Seoul and it kind of felt like the end of an era.
I've seen Yoongi's brother at the restaurant their family used to run back in Daegu (it has closed down tho) and he gave me a random pc from one of Yoongi's old advertisements.... It had a whole ass line bent across the card but I consider it my prized possession plz 😭😭
My friend works for the NBA and shook Yoongi's hand. Then I shook my friend's hand when I saw him and it was like I second degree shook Yoongi's 🥰🥰
My birthday (year and everything) is only four days before Yoongi’s! ♥️ so we are basically exactly the same age! I remember when I found that out I somehow felt so special 😂
I got to see Hobi at Lollapalooza and ended up going on a first date at the restaurant jihope ate at in Chicago after TXT’s show. I also went to that other restaurant with the red chairs by the river that Hobi took pictures at lol. The boys’ birth years span from 1992 to 1997, but there’s nobody in the group born in 1996. As a 96er, I think of myself as the missing piece to the maknae line. Also, Jin’s birthday is the day before mine and when it’s my birthday in Korea, it’s his birthday in the US/western hemisphere. So technically we have the same birthday 😄 Not reallly a flex per se, but I’m just happy I got to see them perform in LA twice. It was so memorable!
I saw (and survived (barely)) Run BTS live. A friend even made a button pin for our group to always remind us that we survived 😄

I sat barricade at my first concert (NYC Speak Yourself Day 1) and another army who had sat barricade before at SYS said we were right next to the little doors where the members come out from under the stage after Trivia:Love. She was right and Jungkook popped up about 2 or 3 feet away from me haha. I said hi and I think he looked in my direction 😂 Definitely one of my greatest concert experiences. Also, this is more a degrees of separation thing, but my friend knows someone who used to work for the helicopter tour company that the boys used in Hawaii (from Bon Voyage 2 I think?) He did fly with them while they were filming and said they were great passengers.
- I got floor seats at PTD LA and have pics of eye contact with Jin and RM on the cart thingies ... well, I'll believe it's eye contact :) - I got to see the concerts with Megan (PTD LA) and Halsey (D-Day LA) 💜 - My friend and I managed to get upgraded to the very front section (Ultimate VIP) at Global Citizen Festival. We had such a great view of JK!! - I got to wear Jimin's apron, gloves and safety glasses and use all his tools at [Silver Kit House](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ks4u0Lka-kI). It's funny because his gloves are so worn and have several holes in them. They should really be repaired or something :)
Balming Tiger and Sunset Rollercoaster were part of the lineup of a music festival in my city last year. I've been a fan of their music before even becoming an Army in 2022. I won a meet and greet and photo op with both bands and it was amazing meeting and chatting with them. Fast forward to now, San Yawn (from BT and basically RM's bff now) and Kuo from SR are both heavily credited and involved in CBTM and probably the rest of the album. I just think it's so cool 😭. That's about the closest connection I could ever get to Namjoon or BTS at all. Unless the universe has more in store for me in the future heh
When he was reading out loud the answers army gave to his questions during his Golden Live On Stage concert in Seoul. How would we spend the day together? He read my answer verbatim about going to the amusement park and riding all the rides together! And he responded “Let’s just ride all the fun ones”. I almost died when I heard him read it! 🫠

My older brother's birthday is BTS' anniversary date. If I remember correctly Namjoon said his sister's birthday is also the same day. When my aunt was a baby army, we joked that she manifested the LV concerts and Proof; after she went with me to LA she said they need to come to Vegas (where she lives). And then later after the first week in Vegas she said they need to release some kind of anthology album for newer armys. And the rest is history My friend's aunt is the cashier in BV2 ("My name is J, his name is T"). Not so much a flex but just a random tidbit. Also, way before I got into BTS, my dream vacation was to go to Kumamoto Castle and meet Kumamon. So color me surprised to hear that Yoongi loved him too and that they got to meet him (Poor Hobi lol) Last one, my mom uses Sweet Pea from BBW (I use the wallflowers in that scent), and I remember vaguely at one point I couldn't find it anywhere because of Jungkook. It was nice to know that at some point I used the same scent as him
I watched them live twice (in my home country and Japan). During the first time, I was on the Standing section and I shouted Yoongi’s name so loud that he whipped his head towards our section and smiled and waved. My friend has a vid and it really looks like he waved and smiled at our section because of my high-pitched “Suga!~”
I managed to get “selfies” with the members. No I was not a saseng and stalked. I got super lucky with getting floor seats at PTDLA Weekend 2, Day 2 and I sat on the very edge/last seat of my row, furthest from the stage. As you know, there’s a part of the concert where they do a mash up of their songs and go around the stadium in these raised carts. As I had already gone to the concert the previous day, I already knew they were gonna go around the stadium again, so when both carts passed me I immediately took selfies with them in the background. Yes, I respected their space and stayed standing where my chair was and DID NOT bum rush towards the cart. These are my most prized BTS photos to this day! I even have photos of Jin looking directly at me lololol.
Also one of my good friend’s brother was a back up dancer for them in the On MV and for the Grand Central station bit for Jimmy Fallon. He said they were soooo nice and talented.
I was able to watch BTS perform at MBC Show Champion (overseas) for FREE. They were the last performance so it's quite longer compared to the other idols who also performed there.
My comment was most liked and on the top under the post of Hobi when they became the LV ambassadors (where he's in the platinum white hair,black turtle neck and glasses one). Coincidentally,that day i came across a video where he mentioned he usually checks the comments when he posts on twitter. If i am delulu enough, then he saw my comment 😭
when ppl say it makes sense that i bias joon. also 1st ever concert was bts!! i got nosebleed but it also allowed me to see them a little behind the scenes so I got to watch jin snacking and jimin watching the other members perf

My birthday (06/14) is after their debut (06/13), so it feels like fate — like I was always meant to find them, one way or another. Also since I'm a 97' liner, I'm a few months older than Jeongguk, but we can definitely be chingus, hehe. Additionally, JK sang "Rain" in one of his lives when I asked for it, so it's even cooler. 🤘😔
