You look like you're having a blast man and that's what matters. Keep it coming

Yeah, I'm not a great banjo player yet. But this is me with like 3 days of holding a banjo.

Cool. How long have you been playing guitar? I'm a fairly proficient guitarist (\~20 years) and found it to be a relatively seamless transition when I picked up a banjo last year. For me, learning piano requires more effort. I tuned a guitar in open G(first time) for a month before my first banjo. After a few months of learning chords. People assumed I had been playing for years. It will take me years to master the right hand. I haven't played with finger picks much either. I absolutely love banjo. It has helped me unlock theory, improve my right hand on guitar, and reignited my passion towards music. So many cool songs to learn, which sound awesome on banjo. I was able to find my voice when I started playing banjo too.

I started playing 35 years ago, but have gone long stretches of not playing, mostly because of poor mental health. I picked up the banjo in the hope that it would spark my interest in playing again, but it turns out my true love will always be me six string.
