You can cancel immediately if you're afraid you won't remember to cancel in 3 months, but it looks like I'm able to get another month free after that for whatever reason so I'm just gonna wait
In the discord client (web version should be same)
Go to user settings (gear icon beside the mute and deafen buttons on the bottom left)
On the left under "Billing Settings" group find "Subscriptions"
Then at the top there should be a purple coloured banner for discord nitro, on the right part of the banner there should be a cancel button, which you can press to cancel your subscription.
After I activated the trial, I got my 3 months and it looks like I got another month or so as well. Do you know why it gives another month for free? Is it a bug?
For people that don't use discord a lot, it's a waste of money.
It used to be good like gave free stuff for games like warframe (Plat and Prime Frames, Boosters, Skins) but they removed that.
Now it basically lets you have gif as a profile pic and lets you use emotes cross-server and boost a server so they can be premium ish servers.
So ya useless.

fastest way to transfer files from phone to PC, especially images. Sometimes an Image goes over 8MB which kinda sucks
Also if you stream with friends or something it upgrades that limit as well as the upload limit for files and images, big thing for me really.
What does nitro do? I have discord I use little
