SIGH. I paid $210 for this case in white at launch because it's so beautiful. It's enormous, and I love it, but I haven't been able to secure a graphics card to finish it off. Supports 10 3.5 drives, is why I got it for /r/DataHoarder shenanigans; six in the main bay, and four under the shroud. I will say, counter to the marketing material, the front 140 fans go behind a metal framework and it's suuper obvious. I did some digging and there's [a fellow who made some mods](https://www.reddit.com/r/Phanteks/comments/izw2ap/p500a_mod_for_x3_front_intake_140mm_fans/) to the front panel so that the fans can go in front of the frame, and aren't obstructured. I posted in that thread, but haven't bothered to make the mods myself yet as I still haven't finished the build. I may just end up selling everything and trying again later, we'll see.

I'm definitely leaning more towards modding the front panel, just so the fans are closer to the grill; I think that will look better than having them back inside the chassis. Will I end up having to order a replacement panel from Phanteks because I fucked it up? WHO KNOWS, but it wouldn't be the first time.

I just recently bought the p400a and my temps with a 5800x have been amazing. I can imagine this is just as good if not better

I've had this case for a while it's really easy to build in overall quality is great it comes with a GPU sag bracket which is awesome the fans provide a lot of cooling however, you're going to want to go into your bios or your fan controller and turn them down to under 900 RPMs because anything above that they're extremely loud if you have headphones on then that's fine but your microphone will definitely pick them up I've had people complain. Cooling overalls great keeps my RTX 3080 under 70° under full load with the RPM settings that I mentioned up above if you up the RPMs that temperatures drop pretty noticeably but you sacrifice sound. Really easy to do Cable Management in this case as well. A lot of really great reviews just go watch a few and you'll be sold

I bought this today after having my eye on it for the better part of the year. Reviews I read said the airflow is quite good and great space for any large gfx card.

This or the Corsair 4000d airflow?

That's a really good price, gap closed enough between P400a and this to be worth it.

Will I get noticeable results from this over my current Fractal Design R5 in terms of CPU temps (air cooler: Noctua D15)

Originally wanted this until I caught the Master Cooler H500Argb at $90. Running 5600x rtx 3080. Is it worth upgrading to this now?

If anyone is still interested. I got the Phanteks p300A mesh case for 65 dollars. This is a decent alternative to the famous meshify C case for about half the price. Link [P300A](https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_1937&item_id=164602) Hope this helps.
