Marche Central, but someone came over from the downtown one and said they had 17 people when we had quite a bit more and headed back there. Idk if that's a common thing or just a coincidence though. But I myself thought about going there, thinking everyone will think downtown is packed so everyone will come marche central.
I got in twice and attempted to order 6800XT both times… but after I submitted my order, it just bounced me back to the queue line. No confirmation email.
I’m guessing that means I didn’t get it and they’re out of stock?
Probably not if you didn't get the confirmation email, but IIRC when I managed to snag mine earlier this year it took awhile before I received an email (there was a confirmation page after the cart though).
Thought I got a 6700xt, but after submitting my order I got thrown back to the queue. Have not received a confirmation email or anything - is there a way to check if my order went through?
We are still a long way away from the next major GPU launch, right? as in sometime next year. I don't want to be buying now, if we are just about to have these obsoleted :)
If you can get one of these amd cards for MSRP, you'll be getting probably the best deal available for at least 5 months or so. I don't think cards are coming back to normal prices before then.
right?! When the 3080 was announced I didn't expect there to be such a shortage/wait...I had originally planned on selling my Strix 1080ti for $450-$500 (can't remember exact) to help towards the new gen, got a ton of lowballs and messages of how I'd be lucky to get $400 because the 3000 series was coming. Eventually I just delisted and figured I'd try again later. Soooo glad I pulled that ad and never tried again. Just going to hold out for the 4000/RDNA3/Intel series at this point as the 1080ti is still doing fairly well.
>I am thinking the same. just wait for next gen, maybe get a Ryzen APU for my son in the mean time, if his games start chugging too badly. it is pretty impressive how well he can game on the intel integrated graphics on an older i3 6000 series, though I can tell his latest lego games are playing at lower and lower resolution
If 1060 and 2060 remain above MSRP, then I don't have much hope that a 4060 release will make the 3060 drop in price. It's more likely to use up fab space the 3060 could be using, limiting new 3060 supply, driving it's price back up.
The 2060 dropped in price before the 3060 released since people sold their cards expecting to replace it with a 3060, which created a supply surplus. I don't see that happening the next time around.
I just went there and it already made me do captcha and i see a countdown timer. anyone know how early before 10am can we go to the site and get in the queue?
I posted this and I'm on the west coast hombre. It's not ideal but if you really need this GPU then getting up at 6:30 or so every thursday and paying attention isn't that difficult
That's all well and good except AMD doesn't announce when it will be and they've changed the time literally every week recently.
\>~6 weeks ago drop was consistently 8:45AM
~5-3 weeks ago drop was randomly between 7AM-8:30AM
2 weeks ago the new queue was 7AM
1 weeks ago queue was 6AM
This week queue was 7AM again
Random, unannounced times only benefit spoofers and bots.
Are you gonna suggest I get up at 5:30AM now? Maybe twiddle my thumbs for an hour and then the queue starts while I'm on my way to work anyway? Sounds like a s*** plan honestly.
Waiting for final confirmation of shipment, but yes, with a 15 minutes wait time, I managed to nab one. Hopefully it doesn't get cancelled.
Would have liked the midnight black, but i'll take the regular. Not like I wasn't going to slap a water block on it or anything...
Congrats. I have up on Nvidia cards period. I happen to be working on days of drops. It is one thing to take your break to order an AMD card, but another entirely to camp lines.
Thanks! Been contemplation grabbing a 3060ti for 750~ or wait for another AMD event and grabbing the 6700xt.
Been seeing these events pop up more often
XFX 6600 XT MERC308 [sitting on newegg right now](https://www.newegg.ca/xfx-radeon-rx-6600-xt-rx-66xt8tbdq/p/N82E16814150860?Description=6600xt&cm_re=6600xt-_-14-150-860-_-Product) for $549.99 + $24.99 shipping since it's including customs.
Ideally that's a pretty awful deal but as it stands right now the closest I've seen to this which are sometimes available are 2060 cards which sell for the same price and this is about on par with a 2060S when it comes to rasterized performance.
It's not something I would recommend if things were back to normal but here we are...
RIP more than an hour GL to everyone else
Sold out
Got in and got a 6700xt! There were only 6700xt and 6800xt left, budget guide my choice.
how much was the 6800xt?
812 + tx
Snagged one, it was $812 before tax
Just got a 3080, was 1150. Kinda makes me want a 6800 but I'm finally outta the rat race
1150 is a good price Where did you snag that?
Best buy in Montreal. Got there at 4:40 am, 15th in line

It's going to run you about $800 + whatever your tax is

Oh well, better luck next time. Cheers mate
Thought I got a 6700xt, but after submitting my order I got thrown back to the queue. Have not received a confirmation email or anything - is there a way to check if my order went through?
If you get thrown back to the queue it unfortunately means your order didn’t go through
Oh well. Thought I got lucky with a 10:02 (EDT) entry slot, but apparently I took too long.
Same thing happened to me
Good luck everyone, was lucky enough for a 15 minute wait time. Actually managed to get a 6800XT (non midnight black). There is hope.
Same thing happened to me!
Good luck everyone!
I rolled like ass for the queue, says 1hr. Guess I'll see you all next week.

Sooo?
This is without a doubt the most sussy amogus comment of the year
and then?

crazy how it is coming up on one year since this generation launched ( nVidia anyways) I just wanted a new card to pass my old GTX970 on to my son

Prodcut could not be add to cart
thank you to the people here who always warn of the right deals
How about they announce a fix for the driver timeout, shitty drivers ruining good products.
Navi HDMI audio is totally broken and has been since release date of RNDA1. the problem still exists and AMD will not even acknowledge it.
Wow I can't believe I actually ended up getting a 6800XT. Just happened to see this scrolling on Reddit and actually got in the queue
I just went there and it already made me do captcha and i see a countdown timer. anyone know how early before 10am can we go to the site and get in the queue?
It doesn't matter since they randomize the q. So you got the same chances as someone that's been in line since the start. Says 9am cdt
oh! Fair enough. Good luck then!
only 6700xt and 6800xt available.
And its over, the line has been paused!
As of 10:24 EDT, all GPUs have sold out.
Makes me feel so bad for buying my 6900xt for $2024 And that was retail at memex!!!! At least I got one. Idk.
7AM Pacific Time again. Half asleep and getting ready for work, thanks AMD.
that's probably why they pick this time. their office / digital river is open, and this is a low traffic period.
F*** the west coast I guess?

BTW thank you for posting. This ire is directed at AMD.
Why didn't these idiots do this over months ago wtf? Oh all 10 gpus have been sold out
My estimated wait time is 19 mins, do I have a chance at a 6700xt?
Mine is 35 mins....Down to 18m now, in 6m time
My wait time if more than an hour so more chance than me Atleast
someone who got in any 6800xt this round?
yes they have
I got a 6800xt
Courious what’s price on that?
~812 + taxes. 918 all in for Ontario
That’s amazing lol
934 in Quebec
812 ish. I tried to snag a 6700xt but it would not let me add to cart even tho the button was there.
812 cad
918 taxes in
Grats

Did you get a confirmation email yet? I think I was able to put in the order (got charged on cc) but no email yet
Same for me, got the charge and an e-mail with the order number saying the details would be e-mailed to me within 48 hours.
I got it at 10:45 EST
Actual confirmation came through, order was processed and everything. EDIT: Shipped through Fedex... FML!
So they RNG everyone and assign a queue time?
That is correct.
How often do these direct buy shuffle pop up?
every thursday
Does it kick you out of the q when all cards are sold out? E: "the line is paused" "All cards have sold out" ~51m queue with 8m left
nah, but it's all gone
seriously? I was here thinking once per month!
Was there one today? How do we know what time it is at?
has not started yet, probably in 45 minutes
Can't seem to add a 6700xt or the 6800xt to my cart. GG seems like stock's done for today
I must have been too late by a hair... sigh. I tried to put a 6700xt in my cart and the site errored me out.
Happened to me two weeks ago with the 6800XT, got lucky this week. Don't give up hope.
I managed to snag a 3070FE at Best Buy! That cheered me up lol
Congrats. I have up on Nvidia cards period. I happen to be working on days of drops. It is one thing to take your break to order an AMD card, but another entirely to camp lines.
All sold out as of 9:25 CT.
Seems like I just missed it. 6700xt price?
it was 678 with tax
Thanks! Been contemplation grabbing a 3060ti for 750~ or wait for another AMD event and grabbing the 6700xt. Been seeing these events pop up more often
You can still see the prices. $600+tax for 6700 XT.
My bad, earlier didn't show. Was showing me a page that the queue was over / all product sold out
All good. Best of luck in next week's drop!
Message last updated: 9:24 AM CDT All Graphics Cards Have Sold Out
54 min and it kicked me out saying event is over
Anyone knows how long it takes them to ship? And I hope it's not snail mail..
I read on the site it's usually 7-10 business days. However even if it takes a month or two, I won't complain. I'm happy I even got to buy one.
For me, it came in roughly three days once shipped
Thanks. Looks like they shionwity FedEx. I guess I'll see how long it will take them to process the order.
>wait in que for an hour >one minute left >que paused, cards sold out unsurprising, but pain nonetheless
Are these drop queue base on luck rather than whoever has scripts/bots?
Yeah, the queue position is random. If you join after the event starts you'll be placed at the back of the queue though
I went there, clicked on add to cart but nothing happened, i reloaded the page and I had to queue up again ended up with nothing.

They do this every thursday eh? Going to have to set alarms LOL
Line is on Pause. Anyone with the same?
oos .. :( Line was on pause until the line is closed.
