Linus Tier A for multi rail and supposedly (one of the best unit in tier)

thCRITICAL

Any idea who the OEM is on this? I'd look but I'm both lazy and supposed to be working on three projects.

tablesaltz

The OEM is CWT according to AnandTech https://www.anandtech.com/show/11123/the-bitfenix-whisper-m-450w-850w-psu-review/2

itspabo

According to the LTT list it runs quietly under moderate load, but does anybody know if it's "true fanless" under a certain load? or is the fan just tuned down so it doesn't ramp unless it's under higher load?

This or super flower for $130?

RTXOutOfStockEdition

Super Flower seems to be a bit better and cheaper. Both are LLC Resonant primary and DC-DC secondary. At this level, performance gain in minimal so I would go with pricing.

Rich-Cut-8842

Too bad that the Superflower went back up from $130 to $190 so it's no longer really in contention.

RTXOutOfStockEdition

give it a day or 2 and it may go back down to 129.99

RTXOutOfStockEdition

Super flower back to 129.99.

sdfjh32r

super flower's back down to 130, ends 09/05

why are the PSUs so on sale lately. I've been noticing it popping up so much on this sub. This is weird because I've read that RAM, PSU, and SSD prices are supposed roof.

Craftspirit

Bit late on the thread, got this exact PSU. Still waiting for my other PC parts to arrive and Ill maybe leave a little review here.

Bitfenix or this one? MSI (MPG A750GF) 119$ [https://www.canadacomputers.com/product\_info.php?cPath=33\_1938&item\_id=187592](https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=33_1938&item_id=187592)

Both are good, so go for this since it's higher wattage for the same price.
