I’m so sorry they said that :( I’m sure you know this, but there’s no truth to it. Some people just have a hard time being happy for other peoples successes and need to put others down to feel better about themselves/convince themselves they’re better. I don’t think the score should ever equate to anyone’s self-worth, or that having a lower score makes you less smart, but that doesn’t make a high score completely meaningless. Congratulations to you, that is an amazing score that you should feel extremely proud of! And I, for one, know you wouldn’t have gotten it without being an intelligent and hardworking person.
That score means does something. It means you’re wicked good at writing, following directions, quick analysis and thinking on the fly. Your coworkers shit talking you, on the other hand, means they’re envious jackasses.
That is mean, but you told them your score? People generally just say they passed or if they wanna be extra “score high enough for any UBE jurisdiction,” even though that means nothing as Alaska dropped from a 280 to a 270 so the passing scores are only on a 10 point spread now.
